As the CyberTruck has shown Elon should leave design to people that know what they are doing.

I actually do graphic design for a living and it’s laughable how bad that logo is. It should be conveying a sense of safety/reliability and this idiot decides to go with some “edgy” cyberpunk font.
The "unknown heirs" that are going to start crawling out of the woodwork when that happens will be able to keep Bravo afloat on new reality series for decades.

It's trying desperately to look "edgy" but instead succeeds at looking cheap and sloppy. Then again, cheap and sloppy matches Tesla's entire line of products, so I guess you can say its up to spec with the rest of their garbage.

That's custom lettering, not a font. It's not appropriate but more because it looks quickly scribbled by a graffiti artist like some kind of pop-up t-shirt shop. This is supposed to be carefully considered bit of new technology, not some hobby business a couple of skateboarders run. It has a worrying lack of sophistication that makes you fear the product.
Hah but design is where the genius is. Elon craves the genius label more than any other, but his designs, his ideas, his works, continuously prove that he is no first, or second, order genius. Just a third order genius: someone great at manipulating others into doing shit for them. Just like his hero, Hitler.

It is definitely Musk's "how do you do fellow kids" feel all over it.
It’s retro garbage graffiti junk that screams nothing new, nothing significant, nothing futuristic, nothing quality, nothing but a teenage copycat. The TESLA font is great and should be used. Theres is NO need for robotaxi to have a different font especially the same as failed cybertruck. The dirty talentless graffiti font is also extremely polarising. I would not want to ride a piece of junk.
It's not even a logo, really. It's just really bad typography. A logo is a symbol, this is just illegible text
On the plus side, it blends right in with the spray painted swastikas and penises that these cars will inevitably accumulate.

The Cybertruck is what happens when Musk smokes weed while watching the original *Total Recall*. The Robotaxi logo is what happens when Musk smokes weed while playing *Cyberpunk 2077*.
They adopted a "move fast and break things" attitude in the automotive sector. Automakers are less concerned with litigation from potential liability issues than before (but not to the degree that Tesla disregards safety considerations)
