Y'know what, add another 5% to the stock

maclaren4l 2025-06-24 13:15

Tesla and lies are synonyms. FTFY

TweezerTheRetriever 2025-06-24 13:24

If only DOGE was able to dissolve the French consumer protection bureau like they did in the states this would be a non issue

[deleted] 2025-06-24 13:38

Which means “stop doing business altogether”

RiseUpAndGetOut 2025-06-24 14:02

Or, more likely, come up with a new string of deceptions.

ZanoCat 2025-06-24 14:02

Probably concluding that order with a *"Tant pis pour toi, Musk".*

Dan Ives reported that the launch was “better than expected”. One instance, it swerved into the on coming lane and another time, according to a Reuters article, it was speeding in a school zone for the deaf. He’s a big Tesla bull and probably owns a lot of shares. Isn’t this a bit unethical, since there were a few significant instances of the launch that failed bad. Just to pump his shares.

CarsCarpal 2025-06-24 14:45

BULLISH! 🐂

MoleMoustache 2025-06-24 15:09

> Isn’t this a bit unethical Could literally be the company's slogan. All their moronic sycophants would STILL buy the stupid shit they pump out.

Engunnear 2025-06-24 15:10

Tesla to respond with a poop emoji.

Free-Initiative7508 2025-06-24 15:20

This guy and gene munster, both are just pure garbages

KeySpecialist9139 2025-06-24 16:30

By this point, does anybody still believe Tesla is superior to just about anything on the road? My subjective perception is that it is one of the worst cars produced today. I have BYD parked outside my hotel room and a Volvo on the other continent. 😉

"They can't fine us a percentage of our revenue if we don't have any revenue" -- Elon Musk, probably This is of course good for the stock since it allows them to pivot into new spaces without any encumberances.

The robo taxi part is the app where people select a pick up drop off point / get into and out of the car. Nothing special for a modern phone app. The rest is FSD - which has never worked for a decade without one major flaw after another.

StellarJayZ 2025-06-24 18:14

I mean, it's still Tuesday. The richest man on the planet doesn't ask for things, he just sort of points in it's direction.

truesy 2025-06-24 18:23

good on them. wish the US actually protected people and did the same.

thewumberlog 2025-06-24 18:34

What, and depart from our business model?”

PoilTheSnail 2025-06-24 20:38

To be fair that is better than expected from tesla's garbage self driving.

wongl888 2025-06-25 01:02

Why?

TweezerTheRetriever 2025-06-25 02:18

If you follow the news the DOGE program defunded a dozen agencies currently investigating tesla and space X …… doesn’t matter if you are pro elon or against him he’s bought his way out of being investigated for many issues and that’s the simple answer

wongl888 2025-06-25 03:16

Good job Europe is out of their reach then. Also I am not sure it is a good idea to abolish the consumer protection laws brought about by the EU. I think this is one of the few great things delivered by the EU.

chat-lu 2025-06-25 03:44

> Dan Ives reported that the launch was “better than expected”. It could be true. Maybe he expected someone to die, so it did go better than expected.

chat-lu 2025-06-25 03:45

That does not sound like France at all. They would rather say « Nique ta mère, enculé de ta race ! »

PrivacyIsDemocracy 2025-06-25 08:09

Yeah I'd love to know what continues to prop up that stock after all the bad revelations lately. Because it did tank for a while after his role in federal government destruction became more infamous. Can't help wonder if there isn't some kind of orchestrated buying going on with some of his billionaire buddies and so on.

danypewpew 2025-06-25 17:09

This comment is gold... and so terribly depressing.

[deleted] 2025-06-25 18:30

France is not buying Nazi Tesla’s

[deleted] 2025-06-28 11:22

Well if you order them to stop deceptive practices there’s no company left

tangouniform2020 2025-06-29 10:09

“Don’t let me catch you doing that again”. So I never let him catch me doing that again.
