NHTSA already investigating. It’s been 24 hours with a hand picked crew driving in circles with remote operators. Clown shoes.

[deleted] 2025-06-23 22:56

So, calls on $TSLA? I'm so confused...

TheLostTheory 2025-06-23 23:07

And yet the stock is up neatly 10%. Make it make sense

New-Disaster-2061 2025-06-23 23:09

Unfortunately even on TSLA the answer is always calls

10xMaker 2025-06-23 23:11

Link to news?

jason12745 2025-06-23 23:16

BTC is $100K and it’s a pile of magic beans that exists just to sell to other people for more money. At least there is a deteriorating business behind TSLA. Thats as much sense as I can make of it.

CouncilmanRickPrime 2025-06-23 23:17

It's the post

kneejerk2022 2025-06-23 23:37

US Safety Agency draws retribution from DOGE

Linkan122 2025-06-23 23:44

Btc more useful than Tesla.

EarthConservation 2025-06-23 23:52

The stock wants to re-test the last few month's consolidation high. First 355ish, then 367ish. This event was justification to push the stock price up to the first target, with the second target likely coming within the next couple of weeks. More and more negative news is building on this stock. The big investment firms want upside at the end of the quarter and an induced fomo / short squeeze so they can start exiting their positions and rotate out of Tesla. I imagine we'll see an event for the new cheaper Tesla model pretty soon here, or maybe Tesla just rallies with the rest of the market. I'll guess that the run up will continue with the buy the rumor for the BBB, and will be capped off with the passing of the bill. In which case, if the EV tax credits and solar/battery credits are terminated as expected, then Tesla stock should drop off a cliff. You've got a company with declining vehicle sales, revenue, and margins. Cybertruck's such a dud that they keep having to idle the Texas plant. Inventories are building up. Robotaxi is rushed and is clearly not ready for prime time, and has the possibility of not being capable of non-geofenced autonomous taxi service. Optimus is still years away (if ever). Semi still not in mass production. A cheaper model will only turn Tesla into a commodity vehicle producer with even lower vehicle margins, likely cannibalizing higher margin vehicle sales. How's that working out for the other large OEMs like Ford and GM, with their $50 billion valuations? Losing the US federal EV tax credit could cost Tesla upwards of $3.5 billion in annual profits. Loss of the battery tax credits could cost them quite a bit as well, since the credit is currently about 30% of the battery and installation price.

DOGE layoff notices coming in 3 ..2....1

DistributionLast5872 2025-06-24 00:12

To be fair, it’s actually gotten a bit further than I thought. I assumed it would never, ever start testing. Fortunately, I seem to still be correct about it never working.

ponewood 2025-06-24 00:21

I Iove that they are even looking at this.

MooOfFury 2025-06-24 00:31

Nah Teslas do exist Irl. So theres that. Its minimal but its there

sffunfun 2025-06-24 00:41

Same. Now let’s save these headlines. If Reddit’s around in 2035 or 2040, we can come back and laugh that the Tesla robotaxi still hasn’t launched. Since, you know, their broken promises last for decades, literally.

ARAR1 2025-06-24 01:04

? What are they testing? FSD, like they have for the past decade

jason12745 2025-06-24 01:11

Thank you. I have been staring at that question for way too long trying to figure out what they were asking for :)

jason12745 2025-06-24 01:11

Gullibility and complicity. Thusfar A+ all around.

DistributionLast5872 2025-06-24 01:21

The actual robotaxi scam, not just Fake Self Driving

Gaba8789 2025-06-24 01:21

Dead. Cat. Bounce.

CouncilmanRickPrime 2025-06-24 01:25

It's a weird one lol

wongl888 2025-06-24 01:40

Some die hard FSD fans will come along and claim that they have driven thousands of miles in FSD with “almost no intervention”. So this is a reality check on the readiness of FSD for autonomous driving for those that do not have a positive FSD bias.

CivilWay1444 2025-06-24 02:01

US Safety Agency? Are they still in business? Do we need them?

MakionGarvinus 2025-06-24 02:09

I think They were asking you for what you already did... I guess "reading is hard, m'kay?" or something. Heh. 🤷

bcboy1983 2025-06-24 02:18

Elon is like the kalid of failures. And another one. How is this fool in charge of anything

DanlovesTechno 2025-06-24 02:36

Thanks for the input, i find your analysis about tsla's recent price action really on point.

ryan_dfs 2025-06-24 03:24

People are legally allowed to manipulate the stock price. Both through lying (CEO) and coordinated gamma squeeze call buying activity.

[deleted] 2025-06-24 04:58

Hand picked crew driving in circles? Remote operators?

[deleted] 2025-06-24 05:00

It's only for a small section of a single city

Dommccabe 2025-06-24 05:37

Fraud??

SisterOfBattIe 2025-06-24 05:37

Wasn't the NHTSA dismantled when Musk bought the USA government? Musk isn't going to pay fines or face investigations when Teslas become the remake of Bird from Hitchcock

Radical_Neutral_76 2025-06-24 06:49

But other currencies «exist» then?

MooOfFury 2025-06-24 06:57

Yeah. In ways that crypto just doesn't. Also they tend to be backed by solvent collective entities known as governments and issued bond style by said entities that have existed for a long time in human terms. And can be acceptably traded due to the stability of said collective. Now some are unstable, but thats kind of just human history. Then we get to bitcoin, and oh boy thats a electronic token sorta dealy that one day will be outpaced by better computers and isnt actually backed by any sort of organization except a bunch of pseudo nerds who all seem to be involved in scamming one another and definitely arent capable of maintaining the kind of stability thats needed for a currency thats useful to say buy eggs. Dont at me with its value, thats just fucking stupid. And that it has no inflation is not the flex you think it is. If its meant to be money, its not a goddamn investment its for spending.

Linkan122 2025-06-24 09:29

What an insanely stupid take. Btc has no use then since it doesnt exist?

MooOfFury 2025-06-24 09:34

Oh no, crypto seems to be very useful at doing weird utterly unproductive finance stuff that doesn't contribute anything of use to society, but it keeps the kinds of nerds we dont actually want doing irl shit doing that instead so maybe thats a net positive? That and scams that look exactly like they couldn't be anything but scams but somehow aren't scams because of crypto, and millions of dollars somehow gets into them. I guess that proves that money does not buy smarts i guess?

bthest 2025-06-24 11:14

I guess Trump remantled them recently. Nothing to do with Elon probably.

MikeRippon 2025-06-24 11:19

Bouncing dead cat currently looking like a more reliable orbital delivery platform than starship

beast_wellington 2025-06-24 12:54

I don't understand why the driver doesn't just sit in the driver's seat

beast_wellington 2025-06-24 12:55

With a driver

Puzzleheaded-Shake37 2025-06-24 18:59

Need to have DOGE rif more fed employees so there's no oversight

BackgroundResult 2025-06-29 11:34

If you made people buy FSD and it works like this it is definitely fraudulent: https://open.substack.com/pub/aisupremacy/p/tesla-robotaxi-launch-was-a-scam-elon-musk
