I’m all in favor of running Elon into the ground but my phone is on a contract so I’m stuck with T for a while. Unfortunately lots of us are in the same boat.

T-mobile made a deal with the devil.  The service won't be good and the reputation will be harmed.  Double whammy.  Idiots running t-mobile, apparently.

T-Mobile is the next thing to boycott on my list.

I had the Magenta deal for 55+ seniors, two lines, but started looking elsewhere a few months ago when they raised the price. We had a third line with Consumer Cellular. Comcast XFinity (offering Verizon network deprioritized) swooped in with a free line and two lines for $40 combined, all pricing for a year. No contract and I’m buying all phones directly from Apple. These days it’s much easier to switch and I plan on taking advantage of it if the provider does not toe the line.

I didn't realize T-Mobile worked with Starlink. I'm switching to Verizon or AT&T soon, whichever is better priced.

I still have a year left to pay off my phone so switching becomes difficult.

They should rename it as Elon Takedown as Starlink and Tesla are two different companies. Does T-mobile or Tesla have a worse reputation? Who is damaging who? I almost think it is debatable. I had a price locked plan with T-Mobile then after 6 years they raised it 35% so I left. Liars.. This is the second time I left T-Mobile. I came back when John Legere was CEO I have a Tesla with the free premium connectivity for life and I still have it for free. I think Tesla only offered it for one day. They kept their word on this, which is one small positive thing I can note. T-Mobile are renegers which is really bad in my view.

I have 5 lines with AT&T on their top plan for $220 a month after taxes and fees. Someone else in my family is on Visible with an Apple watch and iPhone and it is great. I have Total Wireless as a backup esim on one of my phones when we are in areas where Verizon has better coverage. I heard AT&T did away with the AARP discount so I doubt folks cannot get those prices now. All seem to be a much better value than T-Mobile.

Thanks for that idea. I only buy from Apple now after sprint locked my mom’s only phone because we switched carriers and she paid it off and we had to go to the FCC before they unlocked it. Now I no longer trust any carrier and we have the senior T Mobile plan as well.

Now do Apple.

T-mobile might be the least shitty of the telecoms.  Looking for better ethics, are you going to go to AT&T? Verizon? Ha.  Also, other smaller carriers (MVNO or whatever)  just contact with one of the big 3 for service.

The same T-Mobile that hosts the new Trump phone service? Yeah I don’t think they’ll care. They’re clearly happy to be in that sort of company.

I left TMo for freaking *Verizon* over this That's how grouchy I am
