From 3/1/26. Doesn't look like the self driving feature is working yet. https://preview.redd.it/4rztqjylcpmg1.png?width=1056&format=png&auto=webp&s=460c83ee89e6c3113d119312bf2d5599c6aef214 https://preview.redd.it/y8n0sismcpmg1.png?width=835&format=png&auto=webp&s=8af627fcc1dee7ef44e42ea1dc465b3353b89c81 https://preview.redd.it/edtuc25ncpmg1.png?width=822&format=png&auto=webp&s=9fe6bb4d271bcfef938c71e743cc54326e43fcfd

That's super cool and all. But... when are they going to have unsupervised robotaxi's scaled up? Last I heard.... they just disappeared off the roads after the storm

Confident-Sector2660 2026-03-03 00:38

They came back when dirty tesla rode in one and then it has been running every day since I don't know why

GetRidOfFIFPlease 2026-03-03 00:44

Not scaled up though right? It has issues atm no? Like 12 incidents/bumps/accidents for the unsupervised (last i checked, late feb?) EDIT - SORRY, its 14 crashes since June. Over allllll of it's robotaxi rides so far.

Confident-Sector2660 2026-03-03 00:51

some of the reports are more than once for the same accident A lot of crashes are also not at fault. There is not really a robotaxi crash of the car hitting another car/VRU These all happened when the tesla was non-moving

What do you mean self drive not available yet. I thought these don’t come with steering wheels?

jasonni1234 2026-03-05 06:18

They probably had to mount some sort of steering wheel to control it.. it’s essentially a 2dr model y

Elon said on March 20th the Dutch should allow Tesla to do Supervised FSD in Netherlands. It's a big deal because it might mean that the whole EU is next. I'm guessing they are laying low before that date. They don't want any negative news about FSD.

Present-Ad-9598 2026-03-05 12:22

Wdym disappeared? I see them every day in Austin and have since last June

Misophonic4000 2026-03-06 04:36

What are you basing that statement on? It's much smaller than the Y...

Misophonic4000 2026-03-06 04:38

These wheels are so cartoony. I don't understand why they went with a larger diameter in the back, it makes no sense to me for a fleet vehicle to have a staggered diameter setup... Can't do full tire rotations, must stock two tire SKUs instead of just the one type... I'm puzzled

TryIsntGoodEnough 2026-03-06 23:25

They have to come with steering wheels per law...

BenchOrnery9790 2026-03-07 05:47

I’ll take your word for it as I have no knowledge of what the law should be, but Elon musk publicly said no steering wheel in these cyber cabs.

TryIsntGoodEnough 2026-03-07 18:08

Elon musk lies fairly often, why is this a surprise?

I saw one as well near Boston
