We can download the app but as far as I can see service is still only Bay Area and Austin. Aussies are not getting access anytime soon.

What can this app do in Canada? There are no robotaxis here.

Apparently from Australia :- "You are outside of our service area" "Where we are available" Listing Austin, Tx or the Bay Area in Cali.

For the time being, if someone travels to America to the two cities it’s operational, they can have and use the app

I wish I knew. Yesterday it stopped at a red light then tried to plow thru before I slammed on the brakes. Then twice instead of staying straight it randomly turned off the path it was going completely in the wrong way then tried to u-turn in the middle of the road. Almost drove up on the median and blocked traffic before I took over. Same route that it’s handled without issue several times in the past. I’m on 2019 hw3 if that’s relevant.

Absolutely no use for anywhere else outside of the US. So not really anything exciting

Present-Ad-9598 2025-12-07 17:46

That is very relevant yes, HW3 is old hardware on old software (I have a 2018 on HW3 so I’m with you), I personally haven’t noticed it getting any worse, in fact I’ve seen some aspects like ASS got better over the last few months. When was the last time you cleaned the glass above your front facing camera module?

“Grok, deploy the app”

Reminder: Unlike the regional app store people have access to, services are not locked to people's home address but to where they are at the moment. Refusing passengers based on their home country may even be illegal.

We love Teslerrrrr! Be careful relying on the promises of a con artist. And enjoy Mars! (My fam has had 4 Teslas now - none of them have been trusted to self-drive).
