Tesla China always exports in the first month of a quarter. This article literally admits that exports set a record for YOY last month. So CNBC had a choice between headlines: "Lowest Domestic Sales in October" OR "Highest Ever Exports". CNBC chose FUD. Also, Tesla recently announced that demand is so strong in China that they're adding an extra shift! Lol
