Those are some impressive examples!

I experienced something similar where we were waiting in an intersection to make an unprotected left. An opening never came and the light turned red. To avoid blocking the intersection FSD reversed out and waited for the next green light to try again.

All of those clips were very impressive.

Impressive clips. Shows me all the risky scenarios my HW3 build can't handle and I should be watchful about.

Man. I am just not going to be chosen until 14.2 lol. All good.

Straight-Grand-4144 2025-10-27 13:52

These are all amazing

Probably a blessing in disguise. By then most if not all of the jerkiness and brake stabbing should be gone.

quetiapinenapper 2025-10-27 15:08

Yeah maybe. I wouldn’t mind that. I’m more curious about how it does in things like metropolis parking lots, my employee hospital parking, my 6am heavy traffic commute, etc. I also drive my pops to radiation appointments every morning during the week and he’s been debating getting one for himself and I think he’s already so impressed the end to end would be a seller for him. So I was just hoping to be able to show that before he was done haha. First world problems I know. I shouldn’t complain though. I do love 13. Flawlessly handles where I go.

They were, but honestly, once they can spend time on the details, we should **expect** stuff like this. Humans take time to make decisions, humans can get flustered or just not pay attention. FSD cab see **much** more than we can, doesn't get distracted, it's always supposed to be thinking about things. Great to see.

This happened to me today. I love FSD. I use it almost all the time. I recognize it's not perfect, but it legit scared me today. I downloaded 14.1.4 over the weekend. Today, it jerked the steering wheel back and forth several times being indecisive about changing into the left lane.

That construction area clip is stupid. If it didn’t back up, the people in the crosswalk behind it would have more than enough room to cross. Because it chose to reverse all the way back, it crossed over the crosswalk *again* making people have to wait to cross.

PM_TITS_FOR_KITTENS 2025-10-27 23:23

Trust me, you do not want the current version. I got it this morning and both drives have been pretty bad. Sudden braking for people who aren’t in your way, randomly dodging sewer drains, the park job can be questionable and the UI looks worse. The main good things is it is definitely smarter at getting out of parking lots and activates a whole lot faster, but it’s behind the latest version of v13 in all but that. Nice to have, but feels worse overall

quetiapinenapper 2025-10-28 00:07

Yeah definitely seems hit or miss for people. I don’t know where you live but I wonder if the more heavily populated by Tesla areas seem to be doing better. I’ve always wondered about fsd discrepancy. How someone can have a bad experience when mines been flawless in SoCal on v13. Wonder if it’s similar again at least until they add their big 14.3 he’s excited about.

PM_TITS_FOR_KITTENS 2025-10-28 00:35

The area I live in has a TOOON of Teslas driving around; far more than any other city in the state. So if it had anything to do with the amount of cars in a given place, I would’ve expected a better experience. V13 was nearly perfect, except for a couple weird lane changes every so often and a bit of over speeding or under speeding. Other than that, it’s always been smooth. V14 (at least the current version) definitely feels like it takes far more of the area into consideration and the speed at which it makes decisions is much faster, but it has far too many beta issues for a wide release. I think they said version 14.2 was supposed to be the main wide release, so hopefully by then it’s all been fixed

SippieCup 2025-10-28 02:47

Honestly. I havent experienced any of that yet. Its been pretty amazing.

NewMY2020 2025-10-28 07:07

Ok, all of that was pretty damn cool. Maybe i should start watching all those clickbait FSD youtube videos again. I'm geniunely impressed by this!

shaggy99 2025-10-28 16:58

Did you see any pedestrians crossing, or trying to cross before it did so? Remember, it can see more than you can, it would be interesting to know if it still tried that is so.

Very impressive!
