Is there also vegan food?

Roblafo 2025-07-22 07:49

They have avocado toast and market salad

Visible_Lack_748 2025-07-22 09:32

Those look great!

[deleted] 2025-07-22 11:19

Damn looks good!

JZcgQR2N 2025-07-22 12:30

How long is the wait? How crowded is this place?

iGoalie 2025-07-22 16:20

The avacado toast was buttermilk toast…

iGoalie 2025-07-22 16:20

No, (aside from some lettuce I think) disappointed, but I live nowhere near it so //shrug

UnSCo 2025-07-22 16:44

Crazy if there are few or no vegan options in a place like Cali.

Goddamn_Batman 2025-07-22 17:53

Beef tallow makes such a huge difference

Screamingmonkey83 2025-07-22 17:55

Elon is not a fan of veganism. But Franz von Holzhausen and his wife are. I'm very disappointed that they didn't make a contract with impossible or beyond meat to serve proper vegan burgers.

UnSCo 2025-07-22 18:09

Doubt they even need a contract, just add options to the menu along with processes for making vegan dishes. It’s not that complicated, most modern kitchens accommodate for it.

airzinity 2025-07-22 18:41

very disappointed, esp given this is near LA

THATS_LEGIT_BRO 2025-07-22 19:01

I love smashburgers

stanley_fatmax 2025-07-22 19:48

Be vegan, but do yourself a favor and avoid those specific burgers if health is your goal. They're not very good for you

Screamingmonkey83 2025-07-22 19:53

do yourself a favor and avoid burgers made from corpses. they're not very good for you.

blergmonkeys 2025-07-22 20:18

lol oh yeah and red meat has so much evidence for fantastic health eh? Not including the ethical and climate implications of it.

stanley_fatmax 2025-07-22 20:21

Not making the argument for beef, just saying sodium burgers are not good for you.

stanley_fatmax 2025-07-22 20:22

No, red meat isn't great for you either. The two brands mentioned above are unhealthy in other terms though, i.e. sodium. Go for mushroom burgers or something.

blergmonkeys 2025-07-22 20:28

Ah well yeah that’s fair but there aren’t likely to be many vegans or vegetarians depending on impossible meat for their primary source of protein. They’re fine as one offs. No worse than eating out for most other foods.

I_Like_Chasing_Cars 2025-07-22 22:03

Long, very

TheHalfChubPrince 2025-07-22 22:18

Veganism has nothing to do with health.

JZcgQR2N 2025-07-22 22:26

Is it true it's open 24/7?

themeltedmonkey 2025-07-23 19:36

It JUST opened my guy.

Far_Manufacturer2565 2025-07-23 21:51

How was the taste and service?

issomewhatrelevant 2025-07-24 05:14

Do yourself a favour and mind your own business as to what people eat. It’s ironic people harp on about vegans being preachy when in reality it’s often meat eaters pushing their own ideas about health and nutrition the moment someone mentions they’re vegan.

Org4nik 2025-08-03 03:16

They aren’t healthy foods for sure, but still better than beef burgers for heart disease markers, there have been a couple large studies with surprising results. They aren’t going to fool gourmet consumers, but people used to fast food or diner burgers probably wouldn’t notice an impossible or beyond isn’t real meat. I’ve tricked my friends with this on a couple occasions. Had no clue.
