Why is the UI so slow?

That’s really not that bad given a car UX. But I’m interested in the food like the other people. Kinda fun to do new experiences

This isn't supercharging. This is ordering food at a restaurant

Probably. Their payment system is already pretty robust

So they pay decent wages and don’t force customers to subsidize via tipping? Holy shit I am so happy to hear that.

THAT is for sure and I wasn’t stating anything negative about the implementation of this piece of software! Looks slick! I stated something negative about the comment/commenter because that was DUMB imho. Tesla has incorporated seamless charging using your credit card since 2012. Their software and mothership construction are unrivaled. OF COURSE they CAN bill that same card for your food. OF COURSE they DO! If the software/your car can pass your order on to the site, they can definitely pass your credit card data too. All happening in the same software environment.

I get you. I just think we easily take for granted well implemented services

As always: you dont know what you’ve got till its gone. I’m looking into another EV, but the software used in other brands….. jeez. (Tesla is off limits since ….)

Yep. You gotta get up and move it. Hopefully this changes so you can dine in peace. But it’s opening week so. Sure it will work out

Super fun. Ordering in your car and going in to pick it up. Walking around and seeing Optimus models displayed in cases. Being around so many other excited to have new experience added to it all. It’s food so far is mid. But not terrible, once the chaos calms I’m sure it will be more solid. And if you have a Tesla it’s a fun spot to make a stop at if you hungry and gotta charge.

Holy misinfo fucking batman. Tipping is common in a lot of places. Maybe step out of your house for once

I know I'll get down voted but I thought it would be faster than android auto with the way people talk about the two.

At my visit last night the “Tesla covers tipping” screen was gone and it gave a tip screen instead.
