Wasn't Giga Texas expected to produce 1M/year?
Eventually
You don’t just hit the ground running at a 1,000,000/year run rate. Ramping up takes years
they are able to make 1m in Shanghai, but their demand is only 1,8 million per year. So 800k divided by 3 factories. So they probably could expand Giga Texas to 1m, it makes no sense to do it now
👍 good job T. Keep goin’ F the haters.
Model Y sold 1.2 million last year, divided by 4 factories building it is an average of 300k per factory. China builds more and Berlin less. Fremont and Austin closer to this average
