Dang, the play store has the Tesla app at 4.43.1. Quite a bit behind.

As nice as this feature is. I can't even use it in my Tesla. It always tells me to insert a USB even though there is one in. I've tested and the car is not outputting power to the USB ports. 2020 Tesla model 3. Going to have to start using an after market cam.

So is everyone that has this just side loading the park of the newer app version? Because play store still has the old version

They've replaced the USB hub recently and it's out of warranty sadly. It will work just not after waking up from sleep.

What phone do you have?

Try using a USB that has a microsd slot instead. Then plug in a microsd card and you'll never have trouble again

Nice! just need to get it to actually record now :( it has a red little x on the dashcam button on the screen and i've tried a new usb and restarting but its still not working

Exactly. There's no reason to limit this to premium connectivity. Just throw up a little thing saying "please connect to Wi-Fi to view secret clips"

Pretty cool. And you can save 30 seconds to photo album. Easier to post clips online now

Its a small price to pay for the amazing features Android gets.
