Do they do this every month and I’ve just missed it, or is this something new they’re doing?

Nakatomi2010 2025-04-01 18:57

They've done it the last few months. Shortly after they started doing "articles" on X. It's mostly just collecting all the posts they've done in March, and maybe some you missed.

I love how they did a FSD roadmap once back in September, fell behind, and then proceeded to not do it again

They released everything on that roadmap. Right now I think they’re all heads down on the Cybercab launch

The only thing that’s weird was late was the end to end on highways, it really only released on time for the CT, the rest of the platforms had to wait a few months. It seems pretty quiet on their end in regards to FSD, I hope they integrate at the very least v13 stack to HW3 before my summer road trip.

Where did they fall behind?

VideoGameJumanji 2025-04-02 02:05

The biggest thing on the roadmap from what I remember was end to end on highways and that didn't end up actually arriving on time for any of the cars except barely for the CT. It came to HW4 and then HW3 in following months which at that point was outside when it was to arrive. They are getting caught in-between product launches which probably eats up their bandwidth

psaux_grep 2025-04-02 22:25

Most people who’s ever worked with software development would probably be very happy with actually deploying within that time window, even if it was just a 1% rollout on the last day.

VideoGameJumanji 2025-04-02 22:50

Cybertrucks are like 0.8% of all the cars they've sold in the last 5 years. If you go further back to all HW3/HW4 cars you are probably looking at 0.65%. No one was expecting them to hold up to any actual timeframe, which is why they have been radio silent on v13 for HW3 even though realistically it should have been coming relatively soon by now.
