FINALLY
Super!
My God the way Tesla treats android is so incredibly frustrating, finally.
Now just gotta wait another year for my WearOS support...
Premium connectivity required?
Elon has an iPhone...

Especially when this is a premium connectivity feature in the first place..
Praise the Omnissiah
Finally not everyone owns a iPhone tesla !
Unfortunately that's a paid for app. Apple Watch users get an official Tesla app with phone key support for free.
As we finally received a watered-down version of grok

And it fixed my dashcams red X which had been out for months 🎉
Wouldn't surprise me if the Tesla app on wearOS sucks when (if) it come out. Going from Pixel Watch back to Apple watch was so nice. The Tesla apple watch app does also seem pretty limited and unintuitive anyways, so if there's a better paid app that still works as a phone key I'd pay.
Yes
Even on WiFi? That's so dumb
Android users unwillingness to pay for apps is literally the reason they get worse dev support in the play store. Developers go where the market is.
maybe one day apple owners will notice how apple has been increasing the price while taking features away and giving them the same device year after year without innovation and have consumers go to android where they actually get features and actual upgrades for the money
This isn’t really an apple vs android argument. At least not about the hardware or software. It’s about demographics. In Q1 2024 for example, iPhone users spent 25 billion on app purchase. Android users spent 11m in the play store during the same time. And the Apple Store has 1/3rd as many installs as Google Play.
maybe android would have developer support if the user base wasn’t cheap shits unwilling to pay to support any of it. It’s a very common theme across the app industry that spans across basically any genre of app and even the value of the targeted user base for advertisements.
This version is not available for my Samsung Fold 6.
The way \*\*everyone\*\* treats Android is so frustrating. The upside is that Android gets a bunch of stuff for free that is still chargeable on iPhone/iPad.
