Service mode+ only ~~$160~~ $75 a day to access Edit to correct price.

ObeseSnake 2025-01-05 22:27

I think Toolbox requires a fee where as Service mode is free to access.

GoneSilent 2025-01-05 22:40

you used to have to be geo-location aka Tesla service center to access service mode plus, to do it in your driveway you need Tesla Toolbox. Service mode + is also needed now for alignment according to Tesla updated docs.

Seantwist9 2025-01-05 23:08

how used? you’ve been able to do it for years now

GoneSilent 2025-01-05 23:17

service mode and service mode PLUS are NOT the same thing.

protonecromagnon2 2025-01-06 03:11

Everything I see says that service mode plus is part of your toolbox 3 subscription which recently lowered to $75 a day $150 a month. Where did you get your info?

GoneSilent 2025-01-06 03:19

I did not know the price had been lowered to $75. But I do know the Tesla docs for doing an alignment now require service mode PLUS.

Looks like veins

protonecromagnon2 2025-01-06 03:24

You got me there, but it looks like that's only for air suspension vehicles to calibrate ride height. Still a little frustrating theyd lock stuff up like that. I'm getting ready to add the swivel screen to my plaid, so I'll be coughing up the $75 anyways

mrandr01d 2025-01-07 07:36

Oh, this isn't a joke comment. 👀

GoneSilent 2025-01-07 20:02

if you go to service mode and do the CAN reinstall software it MIGHT pick that up after you install it. You might not need to do a re-deploy for the swivel.

protonecromagnon2 2025-01-07 20:19

Watching a video there are calibration routines and vc left replaced to do it. I'll try without, but I think the calibration will need it

Terrh 2025-01-11 13:22

$75 a day just to be allowed to use features of your own damn car.

protonecromagnon2 2025-01-11 13:23

Truth.
