Wait 'til you see one driving in the dark. I came across one the other night on a road here in town with very few street lamps. The unusual shape, large uninterrupted flat surfaces, and gloss finish made it extremely hard to make visual sense of. It wasn't invisible, per se, but it definitely looked surreal waiting at a stop light among a bunch of other cars.

Good taste is not that subjective. Statistically and objectively. There’s a reason most people like the David of Michelangelo and most people don’t like a turd, even if on a pedestal. Really, one can say that the cybertruck is functional (that’s debatable), but - contrary to Tesla cars - it’s very difficult to say it’s anything aesthetically pleasant.
It's actually crazy how many people like turds... There's a whole section for it on porn sites. But it's shit... Of course most people won't like it. And I think you'd be surprised by how many people think art is pretentious. Most popular songs these days are just random cringy sounds or clichés. The mass don't really care.
