Tesla's servers, however, are unable to process the load of people trying to order it. I'm not sure anyone has gotten past putting in the shipping address and such.

Got through after an hour and once processing the card said error placing order.

That's my fear at the moment. Because that's where you run the risk of seeing multiple charges if you keep trying. :(

It’s the closest any of us will get to owning the vaporware that is the Tesla bot.

There are ball-jointed dolls selling for hundreds, even 1000$. This is a mid tier action figure. Better than your TMNT action figures of the 80s that can move in 3 places and still cost 10$.

It is already useful tasks at Tesla’s own factory. I will be shocked if they don’t at least sell it to other companies for commercial use in a few years once they refined the hardware and software more and getting the cost down.

I mean, I agree but it’s still vaporware. It’s a product that was unveiled years before commercial release just to get stockholders and consumers hopeful. Fits the definition pretty well.

Because people buy everything Tesla puts out. Seriously, anything: mugs, phone chargers, tequila (guilty myself), action figures.

I tried all day and then it went out of stock. But that was just Tesla shutting it down to fix the problems. And randomly at like midnight pst I went and tried and it worked and was able to snag one. Back to being sold out now.
