Just moved away. Would have been cool to see.

reeefur 2024-11-07 23:26

That's where I ordered my Tesla and first saw the M3P. I was literally out for lunch, ended up buying a Tesla lol. Some nice sales people there...

ackermann 2024-11-07 23:33

Does this one still have the gold paint on the edges of the tires?

wave_action 2024-11-07 23:40

Might have to check this out.

binkbankb0nk 2024-11-07 23:53

And it absolutely won’t be the one in the generated image shown here.

theycallmebekky 2024-11-08 00:03

It was scraped off via curb rash 20 minutes after delivery

whatthedrunk 2024-11-08 00:25

Looking at them and thinking about how so many people wrap the cybertruck. Curious if that's half the point of the look. People can wrap them with their business logo easily. Imagine making them pink with the Lyft logos.

ThatRocketSurgeon 2024-11-08 00:29

More like prior to delivery and the service center said it was within specs.

No one wants to see a showroom prop. Either offer free/paid rides like Waymo or shut up. This is getting embarrassing.

rabbitwonker 2024-11-08 02:08

Oh please. This is a natural first step. In time, they’ll take another.

FatalLastOath 2024-11-08 03:07

Robotaxi is in a physical showroom before the juniper interesting 🤔

tangosukka69 2024-11-08 03:38

god damnit i was literally next door and didn't think to walk by the tesla store today

Euro_Snob 2024-11-08 03:58

Dumbest looking tires ever. Otherwise it looks ok.

notapaperhandape 2024-11-08 04:51

Are they actually going to paint half or the tires with gold paint?

Xcitado 2024-11-08 05:10

Looks like a 2 door Model Y Juniper to me.

ShauNYCxxx 2024-11-08 06:22

went and saw it and it looked so awesome in person, the build quality really surprised me, especially the interior. The gold is a wrap btw. Wheel covers are painted though. I was just blown away by how “final” it looks.

One thing I don’t understand is I thought stainless steel cannot be bent that’s why cybertruck is so edgy but how come cyber cab looks so curvy?

mellenger 2024-11-08 06:38

Is it stainless steel?

Fun_Marsupial_5380 2024-11-08 08:27

That's dope! Tell your frends to visit Tesla Santana Row and check it out. Don't miss out on seeing the future!

notsooriginal 2024-11-08 08:56

From Tailosive EV video, yes.

KnightsofNi10 2024-11-08 09:14

Expensive lunch.

ne999 2024-11-08 10:45

It’s a bit of over spray and within spec.

ne999 2024-11-08 10:46

It’s just a bit of over- spray and in specifications.

ne999 2024-11-08 10:46

It’s just a bit of over- spray and in specifications.

Housto_0 2024-11-08 11:51

Is it just me or does it seem like it’s going to run through tires really fast?

issomewhatrelevant 2024-11-08 12:02

Excited for the idea of the Cybercab but my god has it been beaten with the ugly stick. Makes the Cybertruck look almost tolerable.

jabroni4545 2024-11-08 12:32

I wouldn't want to be picked up in a pink one.

jabroni4545 2024-11-08 12:48

Don't think so. Not sure what they plan for the production version, but if it was stainless it could be curved as long as it's thin enough, just won't be dentproof.

jabroni4545 2024-11-08 12:49

Used as a taxi yes, but it's also the lightest tesla and won't be driven aggressively

Clawz114 2024-11-08 14:10

Sandy Munro says the skin on the demo car is carbon fibre on the video linked below, time stamp 4:00, https://youtu.be/WkezrTpVWZw

AlextheTroller 2024-11-08 18:40

\*Ahem\* We are talking about the same company that delivered the Cybertruck.

aptwo 2024-11-08 19:05

That chump chain for people that lives near Santana Row.

seaZ78 2024-11-08 19:51

it’s adorbs

Present-Ad-9598 2024-11-08 19:58

We had one at the factory in Giga Texas, it absolutely is the same one

Present-Ad-9598 2024-11-08 20:01

Your username is jabroni, I feel like you absolutely would want that “there will be no model y refresh before the end of the year”, they’re trying to finish getting end of year and holiday sales before the refresh, will prolly be announced/revealed in january

Present-Ad-9598 2024-11-08 20:01

Bad take

Present-Ad-9598 2024-11-08 20:02

Because it’s not stainless steel

randomspecific 2024-11-09 02:39

Tesla, slap a steering wheel on this thing and I’ll buy it.

4elmerfuffu2 2024-11-09 06:05

I'm 70 so I can see this in my future when I no longer want the liability and responsibility of driving but still want to be independent.

ohmylordyyyy 2024-11-09 11:42

Chump Change.

aptwo 2024-11-09 17:44

Oh my lord, sorry typing too fast

rasin1601 2024-11-13 19:32

Yes, but it will be fine with paint protection film.

notapaperhandape 2024-11-13 19:40

Oh okay.

bitchtitfucker 2024-11-17 01:07

I agree. Real advancement is getting a FSD vehicle on the road for customers. If waymo has been doing it for years, there's no excuse. The generalized approach is bs as an excuse. Customers have been waiting for 8 years, 10 when this thing comes out. I like the car but it's just not convincing they'll pull off FSD. progress is slow, stupid mistakes are still common.
