There is an inverse relationship between what redditors will say is bad/will do bad and what is actually good.

TheEarthquakeGuy 2024-10-24 18:06

There is a lot of groupspeak here. I would love to see the reports on how many accounts are bots. The number of accounts I've been replying to with accurate information that are then suspended is wild. I think reddit has a bot problem probably as bad as Twitter now, which is crazy to me

sowaffled 2024-10-24 18:08

The obsessive hate really just proves how interesting it is. Alternatively, Apple Vision Pro came out around the same time and even the haters are bored of it and never talk about it.

reddit-frog-1 2024-10-24 18:08

Sales of top EVs annually: Model Y: \~400,000 Model 3: \~200,000 MachE: \~40,000 Cybertruck production is currently 16,000 a quarter and increasing. With latent & current demand, it will most likely exceed 50k units for 2024. However, to reach 100k+ sales that Tesla would like to see, Tesla will need to bring out a much lower priced Cybertruck to reach this level of sales for 2025.

They're not bots. They're political tribalists. Arguably worse.

TheEarthquakeGuy 2024-10-24 18:23

That wouldn't explain the suspensions though. It's just an observation and I think we're going to find some interesting social media companies soon focusing on proving that you are human and the interactions are real

I think it's important to differentiate between malice and stupidity.

thalassicus 2024-10-24 18:28

Why is everyone omitting the Bolt? Where are you sourcing your data? In 2023, the top 10 best-selling electric vehicles (EVs) in the United States were: 1. **Tesla Model Y** – 394,497 units 2. **Tesla Model 3** – 220,910 units 3. **Chevrolet Bolt EV/EUV** – 62,045 units 4. **Ford Mustang Mach-E** – 40,771 units 5. **Volkswagen ID.4** – 37,789 units 6. **Hyundai Ioniq 5** – 33,918 units 7. **Rivian R1S** – 24,783 units 8. **Ford F-150 Lightning** – 24,165 units 9. **Tesla Model X** – 23,015 units 10. **BMW i4** – 22,583 units

ackermann 2024-10-24 18:35

That is true, and I doubt the CT is nearly as bad and universally hated as Reddit would lead you to believe. But still… a 5 year backlog of reservations to work through basically guaranteed good sales numbers for a little bit, right? In the long term, I’m not sure an $80k pickup truck can continue to outsell the mustang mach E for too many years

TheEarthquakeGuy 2024-10-24 18:35

In my original comment I mentioned replying to people and having a regular conversation. Then when I go back (within a few hours) to see where the conversation is, the account is suspended. If this had just happened to one or even two, sure, but I don't participate as much as I used to on this account. So the fact that in my limited participation I've seen 3+ accounts suspended after replying to me on worldnews or something is wild. Typically a sign of something artificial

Odd-Bike166 2024-10-24 18:44

The 2k average cogs is very misleading. They also sold a cheaper mix of cars. The actual improvement is obtained by multiplying the margin improvement with the ASP. It's a few hundred dollars per car. Still good.

LogicalHuman 2024-10-24 18:48

Westworld quote lol

ChunkyThePotato 2024-10-24 18:49

Ah, I missed that part; my fault (no pun intended). That's certainly weird, but I don't know who would pay for fake comments like that or why they would do such a thing. I'm generally skeptical of bot claims for that reason, unless it's something like crypto scams.

Vladiesh 2024-10-24 18:50

But why are they so into anal?

TheEarthquakeGuy 2024-10-24 18:53

We were arguing about Musk and Starlink, they were repeating the debunked claim that Musk turned off Starlink during the Crimea attack so I pointed out that it wasn't true (per a Ukrainian General). I then get a notification that they replied, so I go to view it and I'm met with an error. Go through my profile and click on their account - Suspended. The other suspensions have been Elon related too. So I find it incredibly interesting that this is happening.

yea that's what I was going for :P

ChunkyThePotato 2024-10-24 18:57

Hm, I'll pay closer attention. Just seems a bit too far into the conspiracy theory realm for me that someone is paying for a massive bot army to be negative about Elon online.

xylopyrography 2024-10-24 19:04

The Bolt is not a vehicle that is manufactured. It ended production December 2023.

TheEarthquakeGuy 2024-10-24 19:07

The cost of a bot is the lowest it's ever been. It's not necessarily just Elon, but specifically a list of topics to engage in with a particular viewpoint. With that said, not conspiracy theory, just an observation through personal experience so far.

thalassicus 2024-10-24 19:07

The Bolt shipped 16k units in 2024 and the only reason it is lower is that they stopped production to launch the new version next year with the Ultium drive system which will give it even better specs to be even more competitive. So, once again, why omit the data?

reddit-frog-1 2024-10-24 19:08

It's quite obviously when you compare across the ultra luxury EV market. Model X/S selling less than 20,000. F150: \~20,000. Rivian R1T less than 20,000. This is the demand to expect over $80k. It's amazing how much the demand increases when you get down to Model Y prices.

thalassicus 2024-10-24 19:09

A refresh is not a discontinuation and since it’s highly likely it will continue to sell well, deserves to be a part of the conversation about “top selling evs”. Year one, the pool of people who can afford and want a $100k stainless steel truck is maxed. Years 2+ that pool will deplete quickly. They are a nightmare to park in crowded lots. The steel staining is just beginning. It’s just not a mass adoption vehicle long term.

Fire69 2024-10-24 19:26

You can make it part of A conversation, maybe just not this particular one? Since you're comparing 2024 numbers and it's not being sold now, how can you include it in the list? If it will sell well in 2025, it'll probably be on the list again.

footpole 2024-10-24 19:28

Umm why should it be included if it’s not selling?

uaadda 2024-10-24 19:37

It's because reddit is dominated by people that are extremely out of touch with the "normal" world. Also, Elon definitely did not have anything to do with the success of Tesla and SpaceX. If reddit designed a smartphone it would have 5 SIMs, 3x removable SD cards, exchangable battery, 12" screen, 5kg because dust / water / bullet proof casing and no camera.

xylopyrography 2024-10-24 19:48

Call it what you want. The vehicle you are talking about no longer exists and will not be produced ever again. In a few years time there may be a replacement product that shares its name and similarities, but it will be built on a new platform in a different factory.

[deleted] 2024-10-24 19:50

I admit that I bought Mach-E GT Performance because I wanted change. Within one year, I moved back to Tesla. Not because Mach-E was slow or anything like that. In fact, it is crazy fast, with adaptive suspension, rear cross traffic alert, 360 camera were all very compelling but the UI sucked and charge curve was abysmal, and the braking was not nearly as smooth as Tesla. And the service centers were average. I just missed Tesla’s ecosystem and the little things Tesla does so well in their cars. But that’s Mach-E, a very compelling good looking small crossover. It earned its 3rd spot. Despite all hurdles. Even though the third spot meant 1/10 sales compared to the first two. What I do not understand is that 32k EV were delivered by General Motors. Who exactly is buying GM EV, and WHY?! Same question for some other EV brands come to my mind. Who goes and buys an Audi EV or a Subaru EV, and why? I am honestly surprised that some of these brands are able to sell even 1. In other words I’m actually impressed that these car makers are able to convince buyers to buy a non-Tesla EV. I am fully aware that some folks don’t want a Tesla because of all the Elon hate (and then they go buy a Ford or VW not knowing what views their CEOs and makers held). And this is another reason I secretly want Tesla to have a REAL competition for the sake of buyers to have a real decent option. Rivian?

ChunkyThePotato 2024-10-24 19:50

And they can never be wrong. Unlike Elon, who is always wrong.

nu1stunna 2024-10-24 19:53

That’s pretty wild. Kind of takes the luster out of it though. I used to think of Tesla as a luxury (not necessarily a luxury car, but a luxury). Now everyone and their mom has one. It’s the new Corolla. I have a model Y and love it but it kinda sucks that every other car on the road looks like mine. I don’t want the same thing to happen to the cybertruck

starshiptraveler 2024-10-24 19:54

A nightmare to park? Pass some of whatever you’re smoking brother, then go drive one. The steering is insanely good. Cybertruck is a delight in crowded lots, makes other cars feel ancient.

starshiptraveler 2024-10-24 19:58

Come into the light my friend, it’s amazing over here. I finally got my S after years of wanting a Tesla and my only regret is not doing it sooner. This car is mind blowing amazing, nothing else comes close.

thalassicus 2024-10-24 19:58

I'm talking about the size of the vehicle. It's a running joke in our local Costco parking lot.

Crazy_Category_9594 2024-10-24 19:59

Just because something sells well doesn’t mean it isn’t poorly made lol. Stuff gets sold on hype all the time 🤷

Tallyoyoguy42 2024-10-24 20:02

I have heard the complete opposite about parking them. They have RW steering, so their turning radius is better than some sedans. Probably easiest truck to park. Are they difficult to park... Because it's a truck?

LightedCircuitBoard 2024-10-24 20:03

That’s good to hear! I’m really leaning towards a new 3 in quicksilver. Looks sleak and loved the way it drove when I tested it.

Termsandconditionsch 2024-10-24 20:09

Not sure either. My brother has a BMW i4 and while it drives well, software wise it’s not great and update pace is very slow. And the charging network isn’t there (yet, anyway). Saw an Audi Q8 e-tron yesterday so clearly some people do buy them but from what I have heard Audis software is also so so.

CarlCarl3 2024-10-24 20:14

A rare day in the sub where all of the idiots have been silenced.

jedi2155 2024-10-24 20:15

This has been mentioned in great detail by the TM reddit mods here that around last year there was a massive increase in the amount of bots/attacks in this subreddit. Way beyond usual farms.

Spaceman_Spiff85 2024-10-24 20:15

I was seriously considering it as well, but the charge curve is just so so bad - most cars aren’t great (even Tesla), but oh boy is a Ford bottom barrel

fmfbrestel 2024-10-24 20:15

16k wouldn't even put it in the top 10 list. It's not being omitted, it's irrelevant to the discussion of best selling EVs in 2024.

Nakatomi2010 2024-10-24 20:16

Yup

Nakatomi2010 2024-10-24 20:18

X's bot problem is, in my opinion, worse. That sarepothere is a troll problem here, and I've gotten modmails from people upset, only to discover that their accounts are suspended Reddit is, in my opinion, faster at weeding out bulkshit than X.

KnowledgeSafe3160 2024-10-24 20:21

GM was building EV’s for over 14 years already BTW. And they massively expanded their lineup the last couple years. Their electric Silverado just got released to normal people this year.

[deleted] 2024-10-24 20:23

I conveniently forgot that Bolt / Volts were around forever. You’re absolutely right. But I don’t think this 32k includes either one as they’re both cancelled I think but I could be completely wrong. I gotta go check what makes up that 32k number this quarter.

TheEarthquakeGuy 2024-10-24 20:26

Yeah especially due to their position as a traded company. So it's hard to say whether it's financial in nature or political in terms of why

starshiptraveler 2024-10-24 20:27

Yes i think foreign actors are likely behind many of the bots too. Russia, Iran, China, North Korea all suspect.

More_Owl_8873 2024-10-24 20:36

First paragraph from article: > Tesla’s Cybertruck was the third best-selling electric vehicle in the United States in the third quarter, beating out every other EV not made by Tesla. The only two vehicles that sold better were the Model 3 sedan and Model Y SUV.

I guess the metric will be - how many total mach E's sold in 3 years vs how many CTs

__ICoraxI__ 2024-10-24 22:46

When 90% of reddit are dogwalking philosophers who construct 100% of their identity around whatever is seen as acceptable in the political and social realms as dictated by their favorite personalities/ celebrities, that's what ya get I guess

7f0b 2024-10-24 23:05

As a Tesla owner for 6 years now, I don't plan to get another unless improvements are made to service, build quality, and management. I also don't like the direction the company is going as far as product design goes. Elon also factors into it. I'll give him credit where it's due, but he's really gone off the deep end and seems to be working against Tesla's best interest now.

LightedCircuitBoard 2024-10-24 23:34

Good call on service. Didn’t think about that. I currently drive an Audi and the service dept always treats me good. Pays for uber if I don’t want to wait and free snacks and drinks. Never had any major issues. Is Tesla service and build quality really that bad?

reddit-frog-1 2024-10-24 23:45

My guess it will be this price before the end of Q1.

whalechasin 2024-10-24 23:53

COGS is unrelated to ASP

hasuuser 2024-10-25 00:08

I feel like both sides are over the top. Yes CT sells ok. But I don’t think it is such a huge success as people here are thinking. Million reservations, new Tesla etc. 50k a year is ok, but not great.

7f0b 2024-10-25 01:09

Quality is better than it used to be, and is now probably on par with other US makes (and better than their ICE cars thanks to a simpler architecture), but behind most imports. I've had a lot of experience with service, unfortunately. All very nice people, but generally doesn't want to fix minor things and can be disorganized. Tesla is not a luxury make after all, so don't expect anything remotely MB/Lexus/Etc level. Adjust expectations accordingly and you won't be surprised.

prestodigitarium 2024-10-25 01:31

I’ve had consistently great service - they come to my house to fix my tires, in my garage, while I do other stuff. I recently got a flat far away from civilization, they found a towing company 90 minutes away that towed me to a tire shop where they fixed the tire, total cost was like $10 because roadside assistance is covered under their warranty.

prestodigitarium 2024-10-25 01:39

Eh, we just rented a BMW X5, it had really nice leather seats, but every other “luxury” sucked, with stupid accent lighting, climate control with such a terrible interface that we weren’t sure actually worked, absurdly terrible computer with an absurdly terrible interface, navigation that apparently didn’t have traffic data, and to top it all off, it drove much worse than our Y. The heads up display was cool in theory, except that it was being driven by that terrible navigation system, so it ended up being worse than useless. Traditional car companies are so hilariously awful at software, and it makes up such a large part of using the car now. Trying to use trash software is not a luxurious experience, any more than using an Android phone full of crap software is. Real luxury is opening your car door on a sunny day and it’s already pre-cooled your seat to frigid temps, not these stupid overcomplicated features. I’m pretty convinced at this point that most of the drumbeat of these sorts of opinions “Tesla isn’t real luxury” are astroturfing bots and idiots with no real experience that fall for those narratives and repeat them, and a few people who’ve had legitimate but isolated bad experiences. I had way worse service when we owned a BMW and a MB, btw, Tesla’s has been incomparably better. Those dealerships fucking suck to deal with, and I’m so glad we don’t have to anymore. Luxury is not dealing with douchebag European dealership salespeople.

LightedCircuitBoard 2024-10-25 01:45

That’s awesome! Audi definitely would never come to my house lmao

[deleted] 2024-10-25 02:04

It’s not that the Cybertruck is selling well; it’s just that Ford sucks.

LurkerWithAnAccount 2024-10-25 02:17

My commuter car is a 2017 S, my wife has a 2021 Y, and I got the Cybertruck in June for our weekend activities and vacations. They’re all awesome in their own right. If you asked me to replace my S tomorrow, new 3 LR in an instant.

[deleted] 2024-10-25 02:45

The people who've never even sat in a Cybertruck seem to know more about it than those of us who actually own one. Well I mean they know more about those fabricated stories from that sub where you get kicked out if you try to refute them with facts.

[deleted] 2024-10-25 02:48

CT owner here. CT is super easy to park because of the front bumper cam and rear-wheel steering. easier to park than my Model Y

ChunkyThePotato 2024-10-25 03:07

The circlejerk is astounding. Should be a case study in human stupidity.

bremidon 2024-10-25 05:17

The oil industry alone makes on average over $1 billion profit \*per day\*. What would \*you\* do for $1 billion? Well, slowing Tesla down by just one day means $1 billion more. Throwing a few million towards some bots is hardly "far into the conspiracy theory realm."

bremidon 2024-10-25 05:21

I have not looked into the profit numbers, but that will ultimately depend on whether Ford can actually start making money on the E. A casual look says that they are still losing around $100,000 per car. If they cannot fix that, then the question will not be if the CT can outsell the E. The question will be if the E is still being produced at all.

bremidon 2024-10-25 05:25

What an interesting way to admit you are wrong without going to the trouble of admitting you are wrong.

bremidon 2024-10-25 05:33

I seriously doubt that \*you\* hate Elon. You have been told to hate him, and at some point you probably lost track of which thoughts were yours and which were forced on you. Now, what I absolutely believe is that you have significant disagreements with him on some issues. I would like to believe that you are able to disagree with someone without hating them, and I really do believe that applies to nearly everyone, if they are left to their own thoughts and decision making. I get that for some people, "hate" is just shorthand for "I disagree with them on many things." Unfortunately, we humans are pretty bad at remembering the original reasons why we started using particular words. If you are plugged in to the wrong sorts of circles, I do not doubt for one second that you have been immersed in the demand that you must hate him to remain in those groups in good standing. So to repeat my opening line: unless Elon Musk ran over your cat and laughed at you while doing it, I seriously doubt you have any personal cause to \*hate\* him. You disagree with him, which is perfectly fine, and that has been leveraged by certain groups to try to convince you that this means you must hate him. And as a positive note, by being able to differentiate between Elon Musk and Tesla, you are already ahead of the Reddit curve.

bremidon 2024-10-25 05:49

GM should probably concentrate on making a few really good models first where they make money rather than lose money, before trying to expand their lineup.

> Unlike Elon, who is always wrong And even when he's right it's because those around him kept him out of that particular decision

DigressiveUser 2024-10-25 08:57

they're busy buying one - fomo+++

DigressiveUser 2024-10-25 09:00

Vehicle safety is not a buying criteria to you? It wasn't for me until Tesla came out as much better than the average Re: other brands persuading buyers; they don't - these people are just incredibly loyal, afraid of change and don't bother looking elsewhere and risk their beliefs shaken. They have settled for good enough - good for them if it brings them peace.

DigressiveUser 2024-10-25 09:15

Elon is very polarizing but at least he's very transparent in his thinking, fears and so on. They make great products, far ahead of the competition. Think of all the products you use who's CEO you don't know a thing about, the damage big oil is doing. Would buying a great & safe car be the worst decision you took? If you are interested in politics, you have at heart the common good. Is buying the car moves the needle in any direction? If people boycott Tesla, maybe all the blue will follow but you're still left with 50% of red, a large enough market for Tesla to survive so what would be the point of enduring a mediocre vehicle instead?

PeterBucci 2024-10-25 09:47

Meanwhile Cybertruck is [already profitable](https://www.semafor.com/article/10/23/2024/tesla-says-cybertruck-reached-profitability-as-quarterly-earnings-beat-estimates) after only being on sale for one year.

prs1 2024-10-25 10:40

TBF, there’s also an inverse relationship between what Americans buy and what’s actually good.

ElGuano 2024-10-25 12:35

Good for the Cybertruck. Scary for politics.

TheMisterTango 2024-10-25 13:18

Reddit’s gives a skewed perspective of how poor people actually are. Lots of people have more money than people here think.

i_wayyy_over_think 2024-10-25 13:22

Why not both?

twinbee 2024-10-25 13:23

Finally I can use a source other than Jim Cramer to help me make financial decisions.

hasuuser 2024-10-25 13:40

Ok? CT is still deeply in the red if you include RD costs.

[deleted] 2024-10-25 14:14

The suburban has a tighter turn radius.

iqisoverrated 2024-10-25 14:32

...or we'll finally get to the point that xkcd predicted [https://xkcd.com/810/](https://xkcd.com/810/)

lioncat55 2024-10-25 16:42

Having a block stop someone from seeing your stuff on a website with free accounts and (for the most part) fully viewable without an account is just really dumb.

nullcss 2024-10-25 17:08

Hey, do you have any bridges for sale? I'm interested...

Scoiatael 2024-10-25 17:17

Cybertruck would sell a lot more if they had a leasing option. A lot of ev buyers are a lot more worried about depreciation now.

Beastw1ck 2024-10-25 18:00

I guess but like, objectively I make over twice the median income with no kids and a Model Y was a stretch. I’m genuinely surprised how much people spend on vehicles.

TheSadLifeOfADreamer 2024-10-25 18:03

? what does the vision pro have to do with this. that product is genuinely overpriced and failed. they are scaling back production massively

hutacars 2024-10-25 19:01

> that product is genuinely overpriced and failed It’s analogous in that people were saying the same thing about the CyberTruck. Except those people were wrong.

hutacars 2024-10-25 19:03

I saw a lot of Subaru EVs in the PNW. These are people who will only ever buy Subarus because they’re sold on their AWD marketing and don’t bother to ever do any actual research. And/or they got a fantastic deal.

hutacars 2024-10-25 19:07

What an odd comment. He’s pretty obviously a terrible person these days. It doesn’t take other people telling you that to realize it.

postem1 2024-10-25 19:26

What year is it bud?

[deleted] 2024-10-25 19:52

Sold on their AWD while driving around in snowy weather with summer tires yes? /s

bremidon 2024-10-25 22:13

I imagine this might sound odd to some ears. But let me address your comment. First, having different opinions does not make someone a terrible person. Your adult life will be a lot more successful when you realize this. Second, even if he were a terrible person, that is no reason to hate him. This is an immature way of classifying people and makes you a target for groups who will gladly take advantage of your emotional state. Finally, your final sentence is devoid of meaning. It's one of those phrases that sounds good if you don't give it much attention. About the best I can take from it is that you would much prefer if I would just agree with you, and you are prepared to try to shame me in that effort. Bad luck for you; I have long gotten past caring what other people think about me. It's none of my business. So, uh, right back at you. Odd comment indeed. (And could we get back to talking about Tesla again? For some reason, we seem to have gotten pretty far afield)

TheMisterTango 2024-10-25 22:53

Location is important. US median household income is ~$75k, so double that is $150k. $150k in some places might be the starting point of being financially stable, in others it's extremely comfortable. If I was making $150k with no kids I could buy a long range performance Y for cash after just a few years of saving.

AllCommiesRFascists 2024-10-25 23:30

My experience with service centers is excellent and have no issues with build quality. YMMV

AllCommiesRFascists 2024-10-25 23:32

You didn’t have to pay for a new tire?

AllCommiesRFascists 2024-10-25 23:34

This is the richest country on earth with the 3rd largest population

AllCommiesRFascists 2024-10-25 23:35

And most redditors are extremely privileged compared to most people on earth

TheMisterTango 2024-10-25 23:46

I like to say that gauging the average wellbeing of society based on Reddit comments is like gauging the average sobriety of society based on an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

goodvibezone 2024-10-26 00:39

Let's wait for the next two quarters sales and see what it looks like.

prestodigitarium 2024-10-26 01:31

It was a small screw in a spot that could safely be plugged/patched, cost $10 at a costco tire center.

euxene 2024-10-26 02:13

you need to get your eyes checked or buy a measuring tape lmao

euxene 2024-10-26 02:19

maybe if demand ever falls, we can hope for a buy from lease option

dicentrax 2024-10-26 05:47

Wow, textbook display of mental gymnastics

armykcz 2024-10-26 06:58

Luxurious is relative. For me luxury is well build, convenient , comfortable, minimalistic, not to worry about. I do not jeed shiny parts inside, buttons everywhere. CT is ideal vehicle for me, please make EU smaller version! You know how much less stress I can have when I do not have to worry about someone scratching or hitting my car? That is freedom, that is luxury.

armykcz 2024-10-26 07:00

Reddit is full of stupid leftist ehm people, who have no idea how things work but are very opinionated about it because media said so and media do not lie.

ChunkyThePotato 2024-10-26 07:19

You'd think they'd support an *electric* truck, but no, their tribe is more important.

ironinside 2024-10-26 11:32

same thing.

Fantastic_Train_7270 2024-10-26 13:10

if it was lower ASP and COGS didnt come down that much, then margin will be much lower than last quater, not 3% higher than last quater. This can only mean the COGS came down significantly.

Happy-go-lucky-37 2024-10-26 15:05

“pushes past”? More like falls behind.

bscotth 2024-10-26 16:51

Agreed. At my office the parking lot is full of white model Ys. I love seeing the EV adoption but everyone driving the same thing is the definition of boring. I'm looking forward to some more diversity in the EV space.

RobertFahey 2024-10-26 18:10

I don't understand how the Tesla site says a base CT delivery time is Oct-Nov 2024. Basically now. I thought there were millions of orders to get through first.

hutacars 2024-10-26 18:15

Two odd comments in a row, impressive! We do indeed have different opinions. His are terrible.

flannelsheets14 2024-10-27 02:10

Vehicle safety is really not on my radar and I've never heard of people mention safety ratings when they're car shopping. I'll absolutely bring it up though when people consider ICE SUVs since those things roll over when hitting a curb at low speed.

flannelsheets14 2024-10-27 02:16

In your opinion.

bremidon 2024-10-27 08:34

Uh huh, ok. Now do you have anything to say about Tesla?

hutacars 2024-10-27 13:03

Objectively. Good people don’t go around spreading conspiracy theories about Jews or great replacement, and they certainly don’t try to purchase democratic elections.

hutacars 2024-10-27 13:04

Great cars. Very s3xy.

avatarname 2024-10-30 10:15

Europeans like station wagons and as per review by Tesla Bjorn VW ID7 Tourer is actually a nice car. Europeans like small crossovers or hatchbacks, also a market Tesla is not in. Model Y is already ''too big'' Where I live (Baltics) Tesla is present only with 2 superchargers with 4-6 stalls (in Latvia) and zero service center, so cars have to be shipped to Helsinki or Warsaw if repairs are needed. Our biggest fast charging networks basically belong to electric utilities. So there's that. Even so Tesla is popular, you see them driven around. But many people choose to buy other brands.

wiseboar 2024-10-31 12:45

I haven't noticed a bot on X in probably 6 months used to be really bad and now they're all gone - no idea what you're on about there

Nakatomi2010 2024-10-31 12:48

You're not talking to the right people then. *Massive* bot problem with ghost followers and such showing up trying to take your content. Hell, even *I* have bots impersonators on there, and I'm a nobody

wiseboar 2024-10-31 12:58

ok I get the bot followers I didn't really think about those tbh because I don't care, I have very few followers and I don't expect this to change What I meant was the obvious spam & bots in the For You tab & replies - these have all but vanished

Nakatomi2010 2024-10-31 13:22

Not as much as you'd think. Again, the bots that follow you will, from time to time, like your posts, which generates false engagement and such. They can also, from time to time, repost your content. I've seen it happen with mine. I'll post Tesla related content, and some fake Elon Musk account will come along and like/repost it. It's not as severe a problem, but it is there.

Rudacris 2024-11-01 13:56

His treatment of his daughter and grimes is objectively terrible. It is not an opinion that he is a terrible person, it is a comfortable fact.
