They have had Terlingua on the list for a while and it's so painful to visit Big Bend with only one place nearby with a 50amp juice box charger. You basically have to book somewhere to charge overnight.

You have one on sunset thats god awful small and always full. And you have a 50 stall drive in movie style diner coming..i drove by the other day. Looks to be about 6-8 months out. But its actively being worked on.

Not really sure how much it matters though. Manhattan Kansas was chosen as a runner up site or something, forgot what they called it. That was a year ago and there are still no signs of it on supercharge.info or anything.
Central New Jersey needs chargers so bad. It’s practically a ghost town in there despite many Teslas driving around.

I have one a minute from my house in central jersey, but it isn't worth much to me if I charge at home.
Yeah it doesn't seem to matter at all. There are several "winning" locations from over a year ago that have seen no movement. My guess is that it's just marketing material for them to push on potential site hosts that they are already in talks with anyway to garner more favor.
