I’m not sure why people are so critical of any modifications to teslas especially on this sub. This looks great

Nice! Thanks for the info.
Out of curiosity:
Does the app allow you to dim it down quite a bit?
My worry is that it'd be too bright and that the app wouldn't allow it to be dimmed down far enough (id be going for a subtle look).
Enjoy!

I’m late to the party here — does Juniper not come with the highland lightstrip, or are you referring to the blue one in front? Either way, it all looks great 👍👍

The big long one furthest away from me is the original juniper one. The bluish green glow closest to me is the one I installed.

It does allow you to offset the night brightness. I think it's dim enough for me. There is also a manual mode I think which allows it to dim even more but I haven't tried it.

iirc the Model 3 and Model Y in China got a dash LED strip from the factory pre-refresh.
Maybe it’s a hot take but I like the dash strip more than the big arch LED strip that comes in the refreshed models anyway.
I’d buy the part from Tesla install it myself if they made it available in the NA market

The problem is that people in this sub are not car people but just Tesla owners. just share a stock picture of a Tesla any changes to the car and you only get hate because according to them now it looks like a Honda or something like that

I've got the same one (enhance strip) but for the Pre-Facelift Model Y.
It really gives the car a more modern touch but I didn't expect to also get some QoL with a light bar.
* Blind Spot warner (Strip turns red left or right)
* Adjustable Speed limit warner (flashing red)
* Autopilot warner (flashing blue)
And flashy but useless things like indicating or charging animations.

Buick Enclave owner here hunting for a MS. The Buick has this in a light green/blueish hue and looks classy. Also is along the rear doors. My personal preference is a color more subdued and dim, but that's just me. Glad you posted along with some good pix. I'll keep this in mind, hopefully will be an owner within a few months

I have a question, is it sound reactive like the stock one on the newer Tesla models?
Flashy-Jaguar-2880

Nope. It only syncs to the stock light color. When I press sync with music. Only the original ambient light pulses with the music. The light strip is just static.

Yup, is a feature in the toybox

I added mine, but I added mine not at the top ledge, but inside the crevice, so it looks and does that same effect as the indirect tailight, so I got as oft glow instead of the harsh led strip

So the glows from inside, way softer.

Wait. That is so good what the hell. I should have done that.

You still can, take it off, run in inside the crevice, don't run the AC for a bit for it to stick, and ready, its also cleaner looking cause one of the issues with that strip is that it will start to unstick.

I’m curious if it’s possible to use the light to show the power bar? I love to feather the throttle to hyper mile coast. This would be a really cool application.

That's not a feature right now. But I think if enough people request it they might update it. I think it is possible as it's plugged into the obd port so the strip probably had access to how much the accelerator pedal is depressed.
