The base Model 3 RWD is roughly $59k And the base Model Y RWD is roughly $64k Including delivery & all on-road costs, depending on what state you’re in. The cars used to come with a “mobile charger”, which is essentially a super slow / emergency charging cable that you can plug into any home outlet. It’s now $550 extra. But you can pick them up pre-owned, most people have never even used it, myself included. A “level 2” wall charger for your garage or on the wall of your home is $800 from Tesla (not including installation by an electrician). Again, you can get other brands & there’s a small pre-owned market. Having a L2 wall charger is definitely the way to go. You don’t want to be relying on the slow mobile charger, or relying solely on the charging locations around cities & towns. Although technically possible, it’s not ideal. All of the above can be found on [Tesla Australia’s website](https://www.tesla.com/en_au) If you have a solar / battery setup at home, you can essentially charge for free, or at least very very cheap. I’m near Newcastle NSW, with an average solar array & Tesla battery (which I own), & my weekly cost running the car is $0. No exaggeration. I clock about 12,000k’s a year, & my total costs for fast charging while I’m in the city or abroad, + from home if I decide to use the grid at night, has been about $120. Drop me a msg if there’s anything else I can answer or help out with.
