Tesla Panel.

Thoughts on this paneling slightly sticking out? Worth bringing to a Tesla service center? Pics without the circle is the opposite side that’s flush. Thanks - 2026 M3 LR

Yeah if you want to pay $2800+ tax, then an arm, maybe your leg too. Oh, I forgot to add that you will have to wait 3 or more weeks for service. But don’t listen to me…I love my Tesla’s.

Not worth it

So what's happening here is the plastic fascia (rear bumper) is not fully engaging to the clip on the opposite side. Could either be the body is slightly off, or the plastic bumper is off (quality wise) However, whoever in the factory passed this agreed it was within "spec" according to the measurement of the flush. And now you own it. Sucks, but it's common on these cars.

Appreciate the insight.

This looks exactly like my 23 model 3. I took delivery end of December and as I've been driving the panel literally is getting worse and worse over time. Took it in to Tesla for warranty service since mine is under 50,000 mi. They" fixed it"... Now 3 weeks later looking exactly the ******* same doing the same thing. I don't really think that there is much that they can do unfortunately.

That is crazy that yours is a 2026 and it still has that issue though. I have a 2025 model 3 as well and all of the panels are nice and tight

I can buy that piece of sh*t box for the 1/5 of the price! Deal? 🤣

This is normal Tesla quality.
