Someone is selling a 2023 MY AWD Long Range w/ Performance Boost for 15k. Private sale. 161k miles - which is a lot of mileage. They said Tesla did a suspension replacement at 133k miles and the drive unit oil replacement. I'm not particularly concerned about HW3 vs. HW4 or anything like that. I am concerned about risks associated with high mileage, not just for battery but other mechanical things that might fail. What to look out for now that the suspension has been replaced? Would you take that sort of plunge for the lower price assuming Tesla checks the car and gives it a clean bill of health?

Bro that screams previous owner was running **fentanyl** (or meth/fent mix) up from the border. Those trap compartments behind the dash / sub trunk are super common for smuggling across POEs in Texas/Arizona/California, then hauling north/east on I-10 ('Smuggler's Highway') or I-95 for East Coast distribution.

If you buy it then I would say to be prepared for a battery replacement, 133,000 is a lot of miles. I would also definitely see if it has HW4 just in case, and there are other features that work better on HW4 vehicles too (like recording with pillar cameras in sentry).

So in your mind you just imagine these smugglers just chilling every 200 - 300 miles at charging stations for 15-30 minutes, sitting idle with multiple felonies waiting in the hidden compartments vs. a gas car that can sit idle for like 2 minutes and be on the way again. Let's forget about the numerous cameras all over and security features and tracking devices. Just making sure this is how you're envisionioning it.
