What am I going to miss buying an older Tesla / years to avoid?

Lease on my current 2023 M3 will be up next month so have some decisions to make. The buy out price is 30k, which makes no sense in this market. That said, I'm leaning towards buying a used M3 or MY. How far back would you buy a M3 or MY before the older tech became an obstacle? I've seen some incredibly priced 2018 and 2019 Model 3's. I'm only really familiar with my car, so not sure what I would miss going for an older model. I don't plan on using FSD, so HW4 doesn't matter much to me. Heat pump is nice since I live in the North East. I do value quick start up times and app connectivity. What else might I be missing? Also, any years to avoid with bad batteries? I think MY 2021 is the year to avoid? Thanks in advance.

Newer models have better suspension which makes the ride smoother.

If you use any of the entertainment features like YouTube or Netflix, dont buy an Intel car pre2022. Playback stuttered pretty badly on my 2018.

Yup 2020 MS here, vert screen is MCU2 (intel) and streaming stutters. General use and navi is ok. Also have a 2026 MY and MCU3 (Ryzen) is lightning fast. If you’re going to use fsd (said you’re not), or if toybox and streaming is a party trick for you, then 2022-23 is your sweet spot.
