Spotify privacy

Like, I like to listen to lots of different things. But I wouldn't necessarily want everything to be broadcast on to the big Tesla screen. I guess I'm just seeing if anyone else deals with a similar issue. Not sure if maybe there's something that could either be done on Spotify or on Tesla if like, let's say there's some podcasts with potentially sensitive content that we ourselves may glean positive knowledge from but might not be considered appropriate with regards to the whole family. Anything we can do? Also, I notice when I click playlists, the order seems somewhat set but also somewhat "recently played/recently added". I guess I wish we could more control what's shown, if anyone has any tips or tricks in that regard. Thanks.

Privacy for what? It’s music, it’s not like it’s displaying your fuckin social or something.

Use a different account I guess

They're talking about podcasts, not music...

Point still stands

It does not... There's plenty of podcasts which subject matter or titles expose a whole lot of your personal preferences, which would be very uncomfortable to have show up on your screen if you have family riding with you, or doing rideshare... I understand the concern, even though there isn't much that can be done about it in-car. OP, maybe use one app for Podcasts (like TuneIn) and another like Spotify for tunes, that way you have an option to play music without stuff showing up as much

Don’t use Spotify on the big screen. Use your phone and Bluetooth. It will show up in the little box on the big screen, you can swipe that down and basically hide it. As long as you don’t go to Spotify on the big screen whatever you are listening to. Is basically hidden. Do everything from your phone.

Just minimize the music screen or bring up a different app???

This is the correct answer
