Which software version upon delivery?

kevtke194 | 2026-03-02 22:20 | 13 views

Hey everyone. I currently have a MYLR with Software version 2025.45.10 & FSD 14.2.2.5. I’m going to be picking up my new MY Premium AWD this Saturday and was curious what software version people have been getting upon delivery. I know it normally takes a month or so after delivery to get the first software update and off of the factory builds (.X00). I wanted to see if anyone has taken delivery of a new MY within the last week or so and if so, what software version it came with from the delivery center. I have a road trip planned the weekend after delivery and would love to be back on FSD V14. I’ve been used to V14 now since November and wouldn’t want to go back to V13.

You’ll probably get v13. You need to manually set the update style to advanced.

That’s what I’m afraid of. And then it will take a least another month to get the update.

V13.2.9 and never had a sw update in two weeks.

When did you get your car? I know it normally takes about 4-6weeks to be put into Gen Pop and off the factory builds.

My brand new model x plaid is currently going through that issue now. Though v13 is okay.

Delivered 2/27 with 13.2.9 no update yet MYLR RWD

Thanks! You’d think they would want to show off V14 to new buyers but I guess not. That’s too bad. We should at least have the option at delivery.

M3P delivered last week came with 14.2.2.5

Awesome. That’s good to know it’s out there. Lots of other people are saying they are getting V13.

Two weeks ago. So I have a month to wait then. Ugh

SubieSTI360 2026-03-03 01:52

Got delivered last week and it says 14.2.2.4… This is on a 2024 M3P.. so either I’m behind or the software versions differ by car.

Thanks! Hole I get some version of 14. I see some others getting V13 on delivery

I picked up my MYP last week and right now installing the latest 2026 update from 3 days ago. FWIW

Just picked up our 26 MY RWD on Thursday not realizing it came with the 13 version 😭 still no update. We did change the software to “advanced”

TacticlePenGuinn 2026-03-04 22:53

we took direct delivery of our MYP from the ATX factory on 2/19. —no software update yet. it came with 2025.44.400 and v13.2.9 We set the software channel to advanced at the factory. It’s been on the charger when not in use. Wondering if it’s tied to when the vehicle is actually registered with the state.

kevtke194 2026-03-06 03:20

I doubt it’s based on registration. It took Tesla over 60 days to get my registration to me last time.

So it’s normal to have a new 2026 Model Y (AWD) get delivered with 2025.45.10? No 2026.xx.xx software version out yet?

kevtke194 2026-03-10 19:06

Yes. All new Teslas come with an older, more stable factory software on them. They all end with 3 digits with the last 2 being zeros. (XXXX.XX.X00). I just picked up my new Model Y on Saturday. My old Model Y had version 2025.45.10 & FSD 14.2.2.5. My new model Y came with 2025.44.400 & FSD 13.2.9. From the comments on this post, it appears to be a mixed bag of when people get software updates after delivery.
