So I did some work and my car controller is now Bluetooth based (had to actually trick the car that this ESP32 was a Classic Gamepad Controller) so the latency might be much lower. So long as there is an emulator out there that has controller/bluetooth support instead of keyboard support, you'll be able to play it this way. There *COULD* be a way to receive input from the gamepad and then convert it to keypresses, which is how the game was 'playable' in this video.

Oh it's bluetooth. Took 30 seconds to setup. Very happy with it, although it hasn't really gotten much use yet.
