Yep, both Tesla and Google are racing to get their taxis on the road first in Chicago right now. They’re training all over the city.

I don’t believe this will ever work in Chicago’s winter with the snow and the slush clogging the cameras.

I saw recently that wayno is paying door dash drivers to close car doors left open so the car can continue. Tesla could do the same to have people clean the cameras.

The robotaxi Model Ys operating in Austin were seen with camera washers that are not present on customer versions.
