Possible defect?p

I'm getting tint this weekend and will be doing the whole rear window instead of just half. I noticed this around the defroster lines. Is this a sign that I should cancel the appointment?

That may even cause a stress on the glass, causing it to crack. Make a service appointment with Tesla and get that checked under warranty…. If you still have a warranty.

Talked to Tesla service center and was told they can’t replace it because it works. That’s insane 😂

Do not listen to them, if you tint it, it'll likely crack, I'm dealing with this on my 2024 model 3, the whole rear is cracked and the service center is trying to say it was an impact, but there's a burn mark on the defroster line, and the crack is originating from that burned defroster line! terrible design. The car goes to them this upcoming Monday for them to "Investigate"

Ok. I’ll try another service center because this one believes it’s something like adhesive or chemical that was burned. At this point they need to add factory tint to the Model 3s

You can't put tint from the factory on sedans in the United States however SUVs can have darker windows on the rear.
