Car Heating Problem

DieSackgasse | 2026-02-25 12:02 | 10 views

Hey guys! Just got my car back from a friends shop after having the bumper, fender, and windshield replaced. I don't think I'm imagining things, but it feels like the heater isn't working properly anymore. Warm air only comes out of the footwell, and I can't preheat the car via the app due to a 'system error.' These codes are showing up in Service Mode—does anyone know what they mean? I couldn't find info on some of them. Did something break because the heating was on for a long time? Edit: Pictures didnt upload. Error Codes from Service Menu: VCRIGHT\_a538\_hvacSystemNotNominal, VCRIGHT\_a271\_THSSensorFault, VCRIGHT\_a257\_THSMIA, GTW\_w043\_THSversionMismatch
