Question about order holds

Noboru47 | 2026-02-24 18:19 | 9 views

I made my premium model Y finance order on Feb14, and recently asked the sales reduce the APR to 0.99% to match the latest incentive, and i afraid I will miss incentives in March as AI predicts it will have some deal coming in the end of season. My question is what happens if I press the remove hold button now? And if 0.99% incentive goes away during the hold, will I remain having the 0.99% rate? And until when will this order remains active?

Wondering the same thing. I have an order with FSD purchased and Autopilot and don’t want to lose those options if I put it on hold for a week. I hope they treat it as the same continuous order agreement, and not as a cancellation and new order.

Ask Tesla

I recently put a hold on my Tesla order due to trade in issues. The model 3 I had ordered had FSD (full purchase) added to it. I made sure (before placing the hold) that everything I had on the order was still going to be there after the hold had expired. My advisor confirmed it would, and gave me a 2 week hold to get everything situated. Fast forward to today where the hold has been lifted and I will now be able to pick up my car (with all of my old configurations on it)!

Super helpful! I’m skeptical of advisor answers because they seem to wing it with their best guess sometimes. But your experience is reassuring.

Yeah, the advisors are sometimes not the most helpful (especially since they seem to give you a new one everyday) but they were helpful in that one instance!

Just to let you know, all of the responses here will be the same “best guess” based on that person’s experience. If you don’t see it written out on their site, they don’t have a universal policy on it

I think as long the fsd purchase shows up in your vehicle details then you are fine

Also any one has strategies of when to release hold?
