It is free while you are the sole owner of the model y performance. Disregard the bots stating it's a trial.

For the long range model, at least it's a trial. I don't know about the performance.

I recently put a deposit down on the exact same config. However, my view doesn’t show “traffic aware cruise control”. I’m in the US. Will I get whatever Tesla calls adaptive cruise control?

No, free premium connectivity is only for the performance models

It was my understanding that all performance trims came with free premium connectivity - check with your Tesla advisor. They would know much more about this than I.

100 per year \*5 years =500 Dollar Savings. It is at least they can do for the product price increase and reduction of affiliate discounting. The 3 months free supercharging on used vehicles that have sat on the lot for over 60 days is also pretty funny.

Through the tesla app? Still shows an option for monthly for 9.99 a month or a yearly plan for me. 18$ is quite expensive. Does it include anything like windshield protection or any other benefits?

It's hardly $1k for 5 years of ownership. Not sure what's the big deal about one getting/not getting... I have a MYLR with monthly charge for premium. Booked Performance. Got free premium. So what. I am paying 75k+ anyway.

I bought a 2023 Model Y performance, and not only was the price higher than it is now, but if Premium Connectivity is free, then Tesla really isn’t being fair. Someone have to pay for connectivity life time and someone gets free for the life time. lol

Might be the first month free that’s normal a for new vehicles.
