How long does promotion last?

Strong-Log-1550 | 2026-02-21 17:14 | 9 views

Looking at the finance 0.99% apr promo right now. I know it’s been only a week since promotion started, but does anyone know how long does it usually last?

They literally change promos all the time OP, like all the time. If you want one, just pull the trigger. So many wait for the wrong reasons and regret it later.

It's unlikely that these promotions will just evaporate given this is their first worst performing quarter since the removal of the tax credit, I'd wager these will be around until close to the end of March.

Okay, then chirp up. Unless you make those decisions at Tesla, you’re just guessing anyway. Nothing I said wasn’t factual information.

You're entirely guessing too? Lmao, what. Nothing you've said is factual, here's an actual history of APR promotions with start and end months at Tesla: * Up to $30,000 off showroom/display models; 0.99% APR financing or cash discounts for deliveries by end of quarter. Started in September of 2017 and ended in **September of 2017.** * 1.99% APR on Model 3/Y (excludes base Model 3 RWD); free FSD transfer; free paint/seating options with FSD add-on for Performance models to qualify for $7,500 tax credit. Started in July of 2024 and ended in **September of 2024.** * 0% down + 2.49% APR on Model 3/Y (drops to 1.99% with small down payment); $1,000 \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* discount. Started in September of 2024 and ended in **September of 2024.** * 0% APR on Model 3/Y; up to $2,000 off via \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*; free FSD transfer for all models including Cybertruck; 3 free months FSD & Supercharging; inventory discounts up to $4,080; $1,000 military discount (no limit). Started in November of 2024 and ended in **December of 2024.** * Various ending June 30: 0% financing on Model 3; early Model Y loyalty discounts. Ended in **June of 2025.** If you had to put on your thinking cap then what would you say the months June, September, and December have in common? I'll make it even simpler for you. January, February, **March**, April, May, **June,** July, August, **September**, October, November, **December**.

Thanks guys! I was just curious how long they were doing promo in the past. I guess I can still think for a few more weeks.

Sometimes Tesla lists an ending date to promotions, sometimes it just disappears.  They act and react much faster than a traditional car manufacturer.  If you're in the market, and need a vehicle soon, just act, and understand that .99% could change at any time. If it goes lower, it's not the end of the world, there's plenty of investment opportunities that could grow far more than .99% could cost you. When I was shopping last June, I was open to anything, and thought I wanted an AWD Model 3 which at the time was 0% APR. Great deal at the time with the EV credit still in play in the US. After test driving all of them, the AWD Model Y is what I settled on.  The extra room, the upgraded suspension, was what the family needed.  At that time it was 1.99% for the AWD LR.   But, there were additional benefits I didn't initially factor in: 1. there was a $1000 off for military, first responders, teachers and college students, that I was able to take advantage of, 2. I had a friend that owned a Tesla and I spent the afternoon whipping him with questions and as a thank you, I used his referral code which gave me 3 months of FSD instead of the 1 month trial, and he got $250 to use as Tesla credits, (and he supercharges a good bit due to his commute so it was a win for both of us.) Those additional savings made the 1.99% vs. the 0% basically even. At least, the difference was small enough that it wasn't worth compromising on the exact vehicle I wanted. Currently, Tesla has $500 off for the military 1st responder, etc. discount, and I believe $500 for using someone's referral on a 3 or Y (and $1000 off for the Cybertruck, X or S), so if you can capitalize on even one of those, the .99% interest might very well be negated or at least trivialized.  You can always get ahold of a friend that owns one for a referral code for that, or ask someone here for it.

Does it say anything on the page? If not, how are WE going to know?
