At that price and mileage, I'd be suspicious of a salvage title. The warranty is 8yr/100k for RWD, 8yr/120k for AWD. Clocks starts from date it was originally delivered, so it will be warrantied until some time in 2031 unless you hit the mileage limit. It's built in to the car(google "Tesla battery health test"), although it's unlikely to tell you anything useful. If the HV battery fails prematurely, it's often with no warning. You won't see error codes or unusual degradation for months beforehand or anything like that.

Google on how to run a battery health check. Since it's a scam I wouldn't buy that one specifically. Any real dealership or person selling it should be able to run a battery health check when it's plugged in. It's the lowest maintenance vehicle I've ever owned in my life. If things go wrong out of warranty expect to pay for repairs, but that's any ride whether it be a toyota or a ford, or a tesla. Teslas can be had for <25k for moderate miles. Best of luck.

The battery warranty is 8 years or 120k miles. The Tesla has a built in battery test, but it takes up to 24 hours. If you're serious about buying this, ask the owner to run the test (if they have a level 2 charger at home) and send you a photo of the results. I pay $95 per month for full coverage, but that includes the multi-car discount and the discount for being an adult over 30 with a good driving record. Having just bought a used Tesla and doing three months of intensive research, I have to tell you this deal is too good to believe. That car should be $30k at the very minimum.

Yeah, liability only coverage is quite reasonable, collision isn't even bad, but comprehensive on a Tesla is absolutely brutal. '23 MYLR total annual premium: $2,280.80 - Comprehensive portion: $1,426.50. The galling thing is I have a '24 F-150 Lightning Lariat and it's coverage total premium is nearly the Comprehensive portion of the Tesla ($1,484.70 all in) for identical coverage. The F-150 was $79,950 vs the Tesla at $50,030 on the sales agreement before incentives, taxes, delivery, license, etc. Guess the F-150 owners don't have the losses that Tesla owners do.

Brutal, my ‘26 MY is 1049.00 6/mo for full coverage. Idk whats up w geico but if i add the ‘20 MS LR im picking up it’s +1370.00 = 2410.00 I got a new quote from progressive and theyre giving me 1499.00 6mo full coverage on both if i pay in full

Lmao that is for $0 coverage if someone without insurance hits you or you crash it(even bump into something like a tree). That is to only cover damages to other people's property.
