What is the experience on tire replacement. One rear tire losing pressure slow (couple days). Want to preserve mileage. Thx.

Go to America’s tire, free repairs have them check. Tip, go online and make an appointment

Yea I might get it fixed but if it persists gonna have to replace (plus I’m pushing 50k miles on it)

I hit a pothole that bent the rim and caused a slow leak. At least have a professional look at the tire before replacing.

It has nothing to do with milage, you are poorly mistaken! It’s a safety concern and any tire leak at anytime should be immediately fixed unless you want to be stranded or have an accident. Remember the reason we have TPMS on every car….the idiots running low tire pressure on tires driving Ford Explores having blowouts and flipping them. Get it fixed! If it’s not fixable then you should always replace tires in pairs or all 4 depending on tread remaining. I cannot understand people that don’t make brakes and tires a 100% priority on their vehicles…..these are the 2 most important safety items that keeps you from having an accident. Never let either either of these linger, get it resolved immediately.

When I've had to replace a tire by running over something and getting a slow leak, the tire was either able to be plugged or I'd have to replace 2 tires. Tire shops won't just replace 1 tire. I've been told both left and right have to be replaced. I've not been told to replace all 4 if the 2 tires on the other axle are still in good shape. But you say this tire is pushing 50K miles. Are all 4 tires the same age and wear? What is your tire rated for in miles and how old are they? If all 4 tires are due to be replaced due to age/wear in the next 10K miles, I'd just replace all 4 at this point.
