EV that is a 6/7 seater - options?
I had a look at Clarens clavis, XEV 9S, Byd emax 7 The 3rd row is congested in XEV9s. While the battery warranty is less in other 2. What are my options below 40 L?

Get the innova hybrid if you can. Why bother with less leg room.
Any idea on the per km cost comparison?
Depends on how much your car runs?
My friend has hycross and he said he gets 20kmpl on highways.
This is very surprising. 9s and emax 7 both have the same BYD blade battery and yet BYD is only giving 8 years warranty and mahindra is giving 15. On further research, It seems the reasons are part business strategy and part technical. Business strategy part is that EV buyers in India are still skeptical about EV batteries and so 15 years warranty is a confidence booster. Technical reasons are that even though BYD provides the blade cells, the pack assembly, thermal management and crash safety by means of battery enclosure is designed by Mahindra. With their INGLO platform they obviously felt confident enough to offer 15 years warranty. Sorry for going off topic OP, it seems for your usecase hycross is the best bet. If however you are set on EV (due to high running) then get emax 7. Even though warranty is less, blade cells are the best tech currently available and you can expect they will last for 10 or more years.
Is it hybrid?
Daily around 50-100km
Yes
Emax is a good option, just that the looks are plain jane types. Without any bells and whistles. Had it been like VW exec looks or at par. Would make more sense know?
Hycross is definitely the better buy for you then, it easily gives 20+kmpl
