Inquiry on Byd song plus

Not me but my wife has it. We have the car for a few months yet so I cannot comment on how reliable it is in the long run but it is a really nice car, eye-catching, lots of specs, fun to drive. Song's biggest advantage, I think is being hybrid. So there is always a back up power option. I currently own a Mercedes and I was very hesitant to buy a BYD, my wife mostly insisted on it. Now my thoughts have positively changed towards BYD and thinking to get Seal for myself next year.

One thing, it makes a huge difference when you buy from the local dealer rather than one from China. This is the mistake a lot of people make. If you buy one from China, you will have issues with OS that no one can fix, no warranty of any sort, in app control will not even work or at the very least you have to contact a dealership in China, the SIM card has issues, and many more things. I would say you should spend the premium to buy from a local dealer, so you can get after sales support which is crucial for these PHEVs or EVs since traditional mechanics might not be as familiar.

song is the Sealion 5 here in the Philippines. Just 4 months old. But i love it. Comes in the PHEV Dmi here. Really nice drive!

she got black interior. We have a 1 year-old boy so we tested seats with vomit, milk, shoe stains, and any other stain you can imagine of, and I can say that the seats are pretty durable and easy to clean.
