Car switches to HEV when cold

Hi I have noticed that my Seal U D MI starts of in EV mode with no issues on really cold (-3) mornings but after about 10 minutes switches to HEV despite having 90% charge. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Once the temperaure comes up to zero I can switch off and start again in EV Mode?

Hi the car switches to HEV to ease the power draw, heater, seats steering wheel etc, I suppose it’s the downside of having such a small battery. but it is perfectly normal and meant to happen. Autos & Vehicles
