Engine start failure, ev drive only

Hi On a long drive from Surrey to Yorkshire I've got a warning appear. "Engine starting failure, EV drive only" This appeared when I was travelling on the M1 at speed. When I stopped and restarted the car, the warning dissappeared. Has anybody experienced the same or similar? Any help would be very useful. Thanks Autos & Vehicles

Hi, two days ago I was driving up a slight incline when the car lost power. I pulled over and restarted the car without problem. It's a software problem i hope the service centre can clear up tomorrow. Sorry I can't help with your problem.
