BYD Seal Premium BBK modifications

Anyone upgraded to BBK on their BYD Seal (or other EV). Am currently experiencing a huge increase in consumption (20% minimum).

Big brake kit

Please check that your BBK is installed properly as consumption has no relation with BBK unless your BBK weigh a ton. Are there any interference to the brake disk?

U will be increasing unsprung mass from the bigger rotors /calipers n pads.. But 20% hmmm hopefully the calipers arent stuck?.

Installed CP9668 & CP9449 with Endless MX72 pads, 380mm rotors front and back

My BYD Seal is RWD, the rear brakes did get upsized quite a fir bit to 380mm. regardless just rotor upsize can have such a great effect on the consumption? Have checked the installation with other workshop and there seems not be no issues with the installation

Nice 👍 Did you get a wheel alignment afterwards? Might have inadvertently shifted while working on it.

Alignment was done but not crossed checked at another shop. Didn't think it would be an issue if the brake kit installation was properly done.

"Shouldn't be a problem", but it's the only other thing I can think of if your rotors and wheels aren't touching the calipers.
