Hello friends Received my new Seal few days ago. Any solutions to the embarrassingly weak windshield washer fluid sprinklers? They barely reach the glass. Coming out of bmw 5 series that sprays like a stud. Thanks
There is a "protection plastic piping" around the washing fluid line: https://i.imgur.com/DHFNG58.jpeg which presumably should protect the line from beeing squeezed when the hood is closed. As you see in my picture it was in the wrong location and did nothing. https://i.imgur.com/XLmvZ9P.jpeg Here is it in the (in my opinion) correct position: https://i.imgur.com/O7lKeir.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/6kN6kiV.jpeg Additionally you can put a screwdriver into the flat nozzle and rotate it 180°. This helped a bit, as the angle is the more steep. https://i.imgur.com/mihWWXt.jpeg After these mods, the washer fluid spray is a bit better. Sadly, just a bit, bit definitely better than before. Bit I have to check again, if you can also turn the angle of the nozle upwards without rotating it. That's still on my to-do list.
You can. I used a needle, no turning needed, just slightly levered the angle upwards, and it moves.
