We already have a Sealion 6 and we are enjoying it so far. Now, we’re having solar panels installed so we’re looking to get an EV. Is the Seal EV advanced a good choice? After discounts, it will be P1,828,000.
It's priced super closely with the Tesla Model 3 RWD. In terms of performance, mas lamang ang Model 3 sa power and range. Go test drive both and see what you prefer. Personally mas maganda look ng Model 3 sa akin compared to the Seal Advanced
Honestly at that price point, I would pick the Tesla Model 3 over the Seal EV.
Since meron ka na BYD, ill get the Tesla Model 3 nalang instead since malapit naman na presyo.

The performance is not there. Seal 5 Premium is faster and cheaper. I'd get the Model 3 instead.
I used to work under Byd. Get the tesla instead of this or get the awd version.

Seal Ev advanced has less specs vs the premium. Considering the difference in price. Price wise mas okay model 3 if you're into the seal ev advance.

I see the downvotes that think na super ganda na ng BYD. I won't go into so much detail. But all I can say is GOOD LUCK.
You lose the same features going for seal advanced as going to model 3 base -Giti tyres from hankook/michelin/premium rubber -smaller rims -no frequency selective damper suspension (only in seal performance and model 3 premium) +model 3 base actually keeps power trunk, seal advance manual trunk +model 3 is much more efficient +seal advanced didn’t have rear screen to begin with Seal EV is not in stock daw as per BYD greenfield, 3-4 months lead time because they no longer stock higher end EVs. Model 3 2-3 months Was cross shopping seal advanced and model 3 standard, just ordered model 3 premium hehe
Better wait for the new BYD cars that will be using the new ver 2 blade batteries which can be charge from 10-90 % for just 9 mins

Don’t try to even set foot in BYD Chinatown. Older sister bought an EMAX7, their after sales is trash. (And with BYD, you NEED good after sales service since you need a lot from the dealer NFC card, app access etc)
It is, but its also the same price with the base model Tesla Model 3!
I suggest to wait for usage of ver 2 blade batteries. They're new and were only lab tested. That kind of charging speed for sure is made in a controlled environment. So the charger itself must meet specs that is not usually available in a community area.
for that Price, go for Tesla instead
