Hi Bought Seal about 5 weeks ago now. Constant rattle/vibration noise eminating from either the driver door or driver side dashboard. Cannot identify it exactly just yet. Anyone else experience same? Anyone figure out how to stop it? Very annoying. Thanks D.
Is the noise occuring at certain speed or surfaces? Have you checked to see if there is anything loose in the doorbin or dashboard cubby/storage.
I now have 11k and have had the problem since the first 500km. The car has already been in 3 times without result. Including replacing tires. The sound/vibration mainly occurs when I drive on a concrete road surface. Can be felt via the steering column. They now propose to replace the HUD, but the sound comes from deeper. An external expert has already been by to determine the problem, as the garage is not making much effort. I will send an update if the problem is found. Autos & Vehicles
Hi Man8ck Thanks for the reply. It occurs on uneven surfaces and at speeds below 60kmh. I suppose it isn't notoceable at speeda above that as roads are generally better surfaced.
Hi Frank Seal Thanks for the reply. A little discouraging to hear that your issue still persists despite several checks. I contqct the dealership and asked if they were aware of similar complaints, of course the answer was no. Online reviews suggest it is a common enough problem . Sorry now I didn't read up more before buying. Hope you get it resolved and please do keep me updated on progress/findings etc.
Hey, unfortunately, no solution yet. 18,000 km now and again another appointment at the garage. I heard from the external expert that more cases have been reported. Do I always have to be the first to report a problem... Kind regards, Frank
