Kilometres instead of Miles

Is the fact that the BYD App shows only Kilometres instead of Miles a fault of the App itself or the car. I am told “There is a software update coming out in April which will fix this” Is this a new version of the app or an update to the car itself? If car, how do I check for updates? Autos & Vehicles

This seems to be an App issue. There is an update on play store but it does not fix this issue.

Surely it must be a trivial thing to code the app to allow the user to change the date format and choose miles? Why has this not been done. It seems people have been complaining about this for quite awhile!

I believe all cars must display Kmh, although some also display MPh. I've driven Mercedes for many years and this has always been the case.

Update V1.3 automatically changes the settings to Miles.

I forget exactly where (I think in system), but in the car, you can charge the units (temp C vs F), tyre pressure (psi vs kpas), and km or miles. I had to do that after the 1.4 update (change miles back to km). No issues since then.
