Seal-U ACC Speed Fluctuation

Hi Everyone! I picked up my new Seal-U Comfort yesterday and on the drive home I was using ACC at 70MPH and it constantly flickered between 69 and 70 really sensitively to the point I could feel the car wanting to keep speeding up and slowing down. I’ve got another car with ACC that’s smooth as butter so the BYD seems really uneasy on ACC. Does anyone know if this will be addressed in a software update? Worth noting that if I follow a car in front to their speed the car behaves completely normal with no rapid speed fluctuations. Thanks!! Autos & Vehicles

Hi Picked my Boost up 4 days ago and my cruise control is exactly the same. Never had it before on any other make of car. Very annoying. Let's hope a software update will solve it

Apparently BYD are aware and it should be fixed in the next update due mid April

Yeah I’ve heard the same too that BYD are aware. I see a screenshot somewhere of release notes for V1.3 and it was explicitly called out to fix the speed fluctuations with ACC. Just hoping my car with do this update OTA and not needing to take it back to the dealers for it

Picked up my Seal Boost UDMI 2 weeks ago April 16 th 25… exactly the same problem with the cruise control , Speedo fluctuates that gives a nauseous driving experience… not good at all .. hope BYD sort it out soon ..
