Seal OTA 2.1

That's a lot of new added regulations to the ICC but not much regarding some annoying "bugs" in Navigation or missing features in the battery settings, like the battery's state of health

I've had it for a fews already. You can find a post on my page. It feels okay, stil needs alot of improvements but it's getting better and better each update.

Careful: **After installation of V2.1.0 the OBD port is locked!** The only data which is readable is the VIN and I think the mileage. Battery temperatures, voltages, SOC, SOH and every other technical data ARE NOT readable anymore! I already contacted BYD via support chat, because to lock the OBD port is illegal in the EU.

Seal U got OBD lock with V 2.0.0 Seal got OBD lock with V 2.1.0 Seems to be intentional.

I have v2 but no obd lock. Hope it continues that way

The obd port is not locked, but encrypted. If you have an authorised scan tool the data can still be read.

Is there still power to the port though? My dashcam is powered that way.

Is Electro still working after the update?

May just be coincidental, but I've noticed a lot more dropouts from any audio using Android Auto since updating. About a minute after connecting.

Thanks. Curious about the point no. 7 "Extra-wide lane edge-following". Does that mean the car could read the more lanes aside from the current lane or something?

it means: when you are on a street and suddenly the middle lane markings disappear, the car will not orientate itself to the middle of the whole road (and therefore drive partially on the incoming lane), but it will orientate itself to the right side. something like: "If width of road is over 4m, then orientate to the right side markings."
