Charging Seal U Comfort on 3 pin plug

Hi Considering the move to PHEV on S/S scheme but don't have a home charger and unable to get one due to parking situation. Currently only do around 20miles or so per week over a couple days (not driving the vehicle daily due to WFH) Approx how long would the Seal U Comfort model take to charge from about 20-80% on a 3 pin charger? I have access to a public charger around the corner I can use for longer journeys, this would just be to cover the weekly miles Thanks!

Get a 10A charger. This will give you 2,4 kWh. 1,7kWh with the 8A charger.

What country? Voltage matters.

UK

In that case, what Seal-Ev said, or if you can get a new power point installed, get a 32A one for a portable 7kW charger.  It has a 71.8kWh battery right? Adding 60% of that capacity (20%-80%) is 43.08kWh. 43.08kWh/1.7kW = 26 hours 43.08kWh/2.4kW = 18 hours 43.08kWh/7kW = a bit over 6 hours

As you’ve mentioned PHEV it’ll be Seal U Dm-i which i believe is 26kWh battery on the Comfort. This is the same as I have. I often charge at 10a amp at home and it’s about 8 / 9hrs to get from ~40% to 100%

It’s Seal U Dm-i (PHEV) so 26kWh battery

Oh right, so then:  Adding 60% of that capacity (20%-80%) is 15.6kWh. 15.6kWh/1.7kW = a bit over 9 hours 15.6kWh/2.4kW = 6.5 hours 15.6kWh/7kW = a bit over 2 hours

This would probably work with using 2.4kw at home for a small top every couple days (only need 20miles for the week) and theres also a 7kw in the next street I can use in the day whilst working from home for a quicker charge

Can I ask what charger you currently use please? Is it on a dedicated outdoor (ev rated) 3 pin, or just an internal one with cable outside the window?
