What's your status of the V2 rollout in Europe (France)? (Seal)
Since May, my Seal has never received a “normal” OTA, and I’m starting to wonder if this is still normal in France or if something’s wrong on my side. The first big update I only got by going to the garage, and now V2 has been out in Europe for a while and still nothing here. # Missing V2 OTA in France I’ve had my Seal since May and I’m still stuck on the older software, with no sign of the V2.0 OTA on the car, even when I manually check for updates over Wi‑Fi. From what other European owners are reporting, V2 started rolling out in batches across Europe around September, so at this point I’m not sure if France is just late or if my car has been flagged somehow and taken out of the OTA pool. # Is V2 still rolling out? Official comms say the V2.0.0 update for the Seal is being deployed gradually in waves across Europe and that it can take time before every car gets it. On the other hand, there are already posts from people in various European countries who have received V2.0, so it doesn’t look like it’s only in “early rollout” anymore. # Side‑loaded apps and OTA One possible reason I’m worried is that I did sideload a few apps that I genuinely need, including the Electro app, which works great. There are owners saying that sideloading itself shouldn’t block OTA or automatically void the warranty unless it directly causes an issue, but there are also cases where people who downgraded or modified software then stopped seeing OTA prompts until a dealer intervened. # Go back to the garage? So now I’m wondering what other Seal owners in France are seeing: * Are you on V2.0 already, or are you also stuck on an older version? * Has anyone with sideloaded apps still received V2 OTA normally? * Did any of you have to go back to the dealer to “unblock” updates or have them install the new version offline? Trying to decide if this is just a slow French rollout and I should be patient, or if I should book another visit to the garage and ask them to check whether my car is still correctly enrolled for OTA.
