BYD Seal Europe(Switzerland) still on OTA 1.4.0

Hey everyone 🙂 I bought a BYD Seal AWD Excellence in September and I’m having a lot of fun with it so far. What’s bothering me a bit: it’s still on OTA **1.4.0**, while I keep seeing videos and posts about **V2.x** updates that have been out since May. Is anyone else stuck on 1.4.0 or having trouble receiving OTAs? Did you have to do anything (dealer visit, SIM reset, etc.) to finally get the newer versions?

I confirm Australia is too still on 1.4.0. I asked dealer few days ago, the technician said it's the latest software available currently.

2 possibilities which have been discussed on https://www.byd-seal-forum.de 1. Contact BYD support via the BYD app chat. For some users, they "assigned/unlocked" the update then afterwards. 2. If #1 does not work, the you need to visit your local dealer to get a manual update via USB stick
